The Day before gig (booked via viagogo for safety) I receive a call on my mobile stating I won't get in with my tickets. Idiot had sold them twice... BAD.
'Owen' at Viagogo, an Irish gent, talked me off the ceiling, found x2 tickets to replace them, in same view type area, offered £50 voucher (to spend at viagogo) and set the account right to allow e ticket print later... VERY GOOD.
Received welcome email of new tickets (pre e ticket email) in GERMAN ...BAD
Rang on morning of event to say no e ticket email arrived. Lady refused to escalate my call, kept repeating script...BAD
'Owen' appears. Phones me, E ticket gets sent, I print, with hours to spare, great gig...GOOD
Now, if I'd bought on ebay or taken a punt elsewhere, I wouldn't have had my issue sorted.
BUT at Viagogo you have to hang on to the good people who get it sorted, of which I see few. £50 voucher is scant compensation for the stress but it was an issue made by Viagogo and at least sorted by a good person who happens to work at Viagogo.
If Owen or Eoghan, sets up a ticket service, I would buy there!
Don't get me started on the football ticket service via viagogo...
