The good outweighs the dodgy

So here's the thing. I think it's odd that Stub Hub can own a venue (I'm talking about the StubHub Center in Carson, CA) and sell tickets to sporting events that are sometimes less expensive and sometimes more expensive but always with more selection and availability than the team ticketing office (in this case, LA Galaxy). It doesn't seem right to me and a lot of my mates who go to loads of concerts and sporting events in SoCal. That being said, we recently got excellent seats for a reasonable price for a Galaxy match via the StubHub website. Clearly, StubHub retains blocks of tickets for their own site as no individual would have bought entire rows, sometimes row after row, and then re-sold them at those prices. These seats weren't even available from the Galaxy website (naturally, I checked). As with any ticket service, sometimes the surcharge fees can be quite high; other times they're reasonable. At the end of the day, for its ease of use and selection of seats, StubHub is fantastic. The best bit is being able to choose sections of the venues for tickets. The worst thing about buying tickets from StubHub or any online vendor is the handling fee and the printing charge. We have to pay you to use our own printer? Get real. Of course, we're the losers who do it anyway! LOL But I suppose we're paying for the convenience, eh? Yeah, you're all right, StubHub. I'll use you again and recommend you to my friends and colleagues.
