Pro Direct Soccer keep your boots & your cash!!

I purchased a pair of Nike Tiempo soft ground boots at a cost of £150 or $249.After only two matches on a soft ground grass pitches and a total of 60 minutes football the uppers started to separate from the soles.I returned them to Pro Direct Soccer in Devon and they took 10 days to even get around to examining the boots. They then told me that as black crumbs from a 3G artificial pitch had fallen out of the box I had invalidated the warranty by playing in the boots on the incorrect playing surface. I explained to them that to get to my soft ground grass pitch I had to walk the full length of a 3G artificial pitch hence the black crumbs on the boots and in the box. Pro Direct Soccer then suggested that I take back the faulty boots or they were happy to dispose of them for me!! Unbelievable, so not only do they want to keep my £150 I paid for the boots they are happy to throw the boots in the bin for me. I have asked the advisor in the Customer Returns Dept to return the boots to me and I will pursue a Civil Claim against them via Trading Standards. My best advice to you, NEVER BUY FROM PRO DIRECT SOCCER AND SIMPLY USE A REPUTABLE HIGH STREET STORE!
