Connor had a scooter, he rode it everywhere
Up to the park,up to the shop, he always had it there!
He went along the street so fast,so fast, how did he stop?
He left his mum and little Zac halfway round the block!
His Grandma gave it to him, he wasn't more than two
She thought he was a little small, but WOW, what he could do!
He passed the boys with bigger toys, quickly his talent grew
He leaned and turned, and braked and burned, they wished they had one too.
He used it daily, used it more,he used it so the wheels they wore!
The scooter rattled, the wheels went square, then Grandma came with another pair.
Now Connor, he has started school,he's all grown up at five
We've finished with our 'mini',now a maxi's all we drive!
For anyone who doesn't think a scooter's worth their while
It's worth a million pounds or more, just relax and watch them smile!!
