For climbing gear, especially, in the midlands there are a limited number of stores available so I have little alternative then to shop here. Having said that i've usually found what i'm looking for and their nearest rival has some appalling customer service.

In my experience the knowledge of the staff is purely dependent on the staff member, from very knowledgeable to almost none. Although the most helpful staff member was a climber them self, which helped enormously.

The range of stock is not very extensive (not sure what the demand is though) and especially boots could do with more stock of differing sizes.

Overall, not bad but not exceptional.
