I placed an order online yesterday (3.2.14) for some walking boots. The order was placed before the 4pn deadline and I paid the next day delivery charge and received the order confirmation. Having waited in today for the courier as a signature is required, I received a "flyer" email from them today and noticed the cut off time for next day delivery is now 2pm. After some difficulty I found a number for the Field and Trek web enquiries (subsidiary company of Sports Direct). I contacted them and was advised that the order had not been despatched even though was placed before the deadline and they have charged me for next day delivery. At no point did I receive an apology from the call centre operative and I therefore cancelled my order. I have received a confirmation of the order cancellation and hope that I will not be charged! They can obviously afford to lose business!
