I've used Evans a lot (being a Crawley resident) both in store and on-line. On-line the website is easy to use, prices are good and delivery is quick. Shopping in store, in person, the stock levels at the Gatwick HQ shop are very good, but the process can be a bit of a palaver, although I do understand why; the warehouse is enormous and it takes them on average 10 minutes to bring the order down. Fine if you're buying on-line, but annoying if you're waiting around with lots of other people queueing haphazardly to put in their order, change an order, pay for an order, discuss bike issues, check out new bike(s)....etc etc. If they could set up separate queues for bike buying, bike issues, ordering, changing orders and paying then all would be wonderful!!!!! I know that's not really possible, but it could certainly be improved. That small gripe aside, so far I've found the staff to be knowledgeable and very keen to help out and it's definitely an asset for the town to have Evans.
