I originally bought a tent from this 'baboon' that was a seconds. I spent six months trying to get a response from him - he eventually wanted his tent back (evidence in his hands and out of mine!). I refused and contacted the manufacturer (Gelert), his supplier. The long and short of it is, I sent my tent to the manufacturer, who confirmed it was a dud, and offered a replacement/upgrade or money back (we too the money). Ordered goods, paid for them and then waited and waited and waited. Called, emailed numerous times to cancel order but no reply or acknowledgement of contact. The company then stated they had delivered the goods about 6 weeks after the order was placed and they had been signed for. Not by me, my wife or our neighbours. No goods, no refund nothing. “Poor quality products that lead to injury, no refund.”

CNF sell some good items at some good prices, however they also sell some poor quality items. I purchased a kayak and added some paddles (a configurable option), the paddles were poor quality and broke, and I cut my self on the aluminium. Ordered on 14/2/17 Chased up several times as delivery was late - with no reply on email also tried to call (the phone just diverts to answerphone) left messages. Never got a response. You may like to take a look at a site that you may recognize called Sherwood Leisure located at the same address in South Wales.
I too have been ripped off, delays and excuses until you smell a rat and search the review sites on the web.
Very strange that this new site only appeared a few days ago but has "positive" reviews from ages ago.

The fitting kit took over 2 weeks to be delivered from when I ordered it, which is not very good as my customer needed their caravan. I called a couple of times and left a voicemail message but didn't have any emails or returned phone calls from CNF to say when it was going to be delivered. Ordered my tent on 23rd Jan. Excuses one after another why it not turning up. Asked refund on 2nd Feb. Still no refund so have sent all prove off to bank with dispute form. Good luck trying to get money back off this contract man. First blamed sports direct letting him down with costumers over Christmas. Then blamed regatta for the delivery taking ages. Your refund was processed and is still with your Acquirer according to our Merchant providors. You still cancelled your order on the day it was due to ship and we processed the refund then and there. Unfortunately once we issue the refund on our side it is up to the banks to deal with it and we have no further influence on it.
Contact your bankers to find out where your money is.

How convenient it was gonna get sent out the day I got fed up and asked for a refund after excuses one after another.
I lost total trust and wanted my money back and you seem to speak to me like I'm in the wrong?

As with so many other reviewers on this website I simply ordered an item from this company without doing any research first. Two months later and the goods still haven't been received yet my card was debited instantly.I have sent CNF Outdoors numerous emails and tried calling but to no avail, they don't answer or reply. A brief update to my review above; the item has finally arrived and is as expected. I still consider the service poor but the receipt of the goods has at least improved my opinion of CNF Outdoors; I would still not use them again but they haven't cheated me out of my money as I first feared.

Wow, you are an expert at stretching the truth. This item is a handmade and hand painted clay objuct as stated in your initial query and advised to you by the Manufacturer of these items. Not only did you use the product for over 4 months, you refused to return it, you also changed your story a number of times from a crack to a colour difference to whatever. We still collected the item from you. Even your own bankers agreed with us when you tried to do a chargeback....We still have the paperwork to prove this.

Actually the item was never taken out of the box and as a consumer I had and have the right to request a return. My story has never changed and I had my money back from my card company. You avoided this for months until your payment was in dispute only then and after having all the emails reviewed by the card company( all of which I have kept) did you then decide to arrange a return. Your reviews speak for them self. 1.1 stars appalling. And I have never lied or stretched the truth, the item in question arrived, the box was opened and it was clear there was a crack in the bottom that had attempted to be filled. I did not refuse a return I requested it from day 1.

Made a huge mistake of ordering from this company before checking it out on the net. Cnf outdoors is all over the net, it takes the money, does not send the goods and never ever replies to phone calls or reply to e mails. This company went limited on 14/12/2016 and his house is sold subject to contract as of 15/01/2017. I urge anyone contemplating using this website to think again. Terrible service. My order took about 6 weeks to get delivered. I tried e mailing and phoning constantly, never got a reply. I eventually sent a threatening e mail saying I was going to involve trading standards, my bank and the police, I immediately got a reply saying my order was going to be despatched within the next couple of days. I am sorry that your order took so long to arrive. We are a small operation and unfortunately over we had a major issue with one of our suppliers causing disastrous issues for us compounded with Christmas and this took our attention away which is unacceptable to us as well. We normally supply good service and have goods out when we say we will.
We have a business model that has worked very well for us over the last 7 years and would not be a registered Limited company if we were a fly by night or one man band. Unfortunately due to our size we are unable to carry all 7500 items that we sell, and larger items are stored in central warehouses from where we ship direct from and this allows us to offer more competitive prices. We are a small famiy firm and Not amazon. Once again I sincerely apologise for the hassles you recieved.

“Take money and then ignore you - AVOID them”

I used this company as they seemed to be ok - what a mistake. They take payment and then ignore you. Do not respond to emails, web forms or answer the phone. They do not accept PayPal, because it would kick them in to touch. Once they have your money they just pocket it and hope you put it down to experience and do not offer a refund. You will have to contact your bank to get your money back. They are a one man band, who make a lot of money by coning people with no intention of supplying… Read Full Review

This is an interesting review that you have written. We have absolutely no idea who you are as we have no record of any transaction from you. It appears that this is a spam review and not a real one.
We do not accept Paypal as paypal is extremely expensive to merchants. We use proper banks to process payments that charge fair rates.

But of course you did not recieve this item. Due to your verbal abuse and threats we cancelled your order and issued a refund that is with the banks. We do not tolerate threatening or abusive customers at all.
These blinds were shipped by the manufacturer on our behalf, however your order unfortunately arrived as they were closing for Christmas adn we were unable to make any contact with them, however rest assured we cancelled your order.

If this is the case why didn't you reply to emails or phone calls. At least my telling the truth about you got a reaction.
By the way the credit card had to give my refund not you.
Are all the other reviews on this web site incorrect. The only people who seem satisfied with your company are the ones who post reviews on CNF web site. Funny that isn't it.

I sincerely apologise for the bike fiasco that you have endured. Unfortunately our supplier (a multi million pound organisation) who shipped all our bikes directly on our behalf for us decided to change couriers to Hermes. We even supplied you with Hermes Proof of delivery to confirm that as far as Hermes were concerned your bike was delivered. As everyone knows these are by far not the best or even the most reliable couriers and they are still to this day insisting that the bikes were delivered. We have been in tense negotiations to recover our monies for these undelivered bikes from the supplier and issue refunds.
As a result we had the foresight to delist all the bikes at the time of Notice, however, the damage had already been done and we can only apologise for this.
