“Cracked Fire pit....Apparently according to CNF not faulty”

Wow, you are an expert at stretching the truth. This item is a handmade and hand painted clay objuct as stated in your initial query and advised to you by the Manufacturer of these items. Not only did you use the product for over 4 months, you refused to return it, you also changed your story a number of times from a crack to a colour difference to whatever. We still collected the item from you. Even your own bankers agreed with us when you tried to do a chargeback....We still have the paperwork to prove this.

Actually the item was never taken out of the box and as a consumer I had and have the right to request a return. My story has never changed and I had my money back from my card company. You avoided this for months until your payment was in dispute only then and after having all the emails reviewed by the card company( all of which I have kept) did you then decide to arrange a return. Your reviews speak for them self. 1.1 stars appalling. And I have never lied or stretched the truth, the item in question arrived, the box was opened and it was clear there was a crack in the bottom that had attempted to be filled. I did not refuse a return I requested it from day 1.

Made a huge mistake of ordering from this company before checking it out on the net. Cnf outdoors is all over the net, it takes the money, does not send the goods and never ever replies to phone calls or reply to e mails. This company went limited on 14/12/2016 and his house is sold subject to contract as of 15/01/2017. I urge anyone contemplating using this website to think again. Terrible service. My order took about 6 weeks to get delivered. I tried e mailing and phoning constantly, never got a reply. I eventually sent a threatening e mail saying I was going to involve trading standards, my bank and the police, I immediately got a reply saying my order was going to be despatched within the next couple of days. I am sorry that your order took so long to arrive. We are a small operation and unfortunately over we had a major issue with one of our suppliers causing disastrous issues for us compounded with Christmas and this took our attention away which is unacceptable to us as well. We normally supply good service and have goods out when we say we will.
We have a business model that has worked very well for us over the last 7 years and would not be a registered Limited company if we were a fly by night or one man band. Unfortunately due to our size we are unable to carry all 7500 items that we sell, and larger items are stored in central warehouses from where we ship direct from and this allows us to offer more competitive prices. We are a small famiy firm and Not amazon. Once again I sincerely apologise for the hassles you recieved.

We recieved your e-mail and responded advising that the boards are shipped directly by the importer on our behalf, and that we would ask them to arrange a collect and swap of the board however this was just before christmas. As we had not heard anything further we presumed that this had taken place.

I used this company as they seemed to be ok - what a mistake. They take payment and then ignore you. Do not respond to emails, web forms or answer the phone. They do not accept PayPal, because it would kick them in to touch. Once they have your money they just pocket it and hope you put it down to experience and do not offer a refund. You will have to contact your bank to get your money back. They are a one man band, who make a lot of money by coning people with no intention of supplying… Read Full Review

This is an interesting review that you have written. We have absolutely no idea who you are as we have no record of any transaction from you. It appears that this is a spam review and not a real one.
We do not accept Paypal as paypal is extremely expensive to merchants. We use proper banks to process payments that charge fair rates.

But of course you did not recieve this item. Due to your verbal abuse and threats we cancelled your order and issued a refund that is with the banks. We do not tolerate threatening or abusive customers at all.
These blinds were shipped by the manufacturer on our behalf, however your order unfortunately arrived as they were closing for Christmas adn we were unable to make any contact with them, however rest assured we cancelled your order.

If this is the case why didn't you reply to emails or phone calls. At least my telling the truth about you got a reaction.
By the way the credit card had to give my refund not you.
Are all the other reviews on this web site incorrect. The only people who seem satisfied with your company are the ones who post reviews on CNF web site. Funny that isn't it.

Unfortunately our supplier (a multi million pound organisation) who shipped all our bikes directly on our behalf for us decided to change couriers to Hermes. We even supplied you with Hermes Proof of delivery to confirm that as far as Hermes were concerned your bike was delivered. As everyone knows these are by far not the best or even the most reliable couriers and they are still to this day insisting that the bikes were delivered. We have been in tense negotiations to recover our monies for these undelivered bikes from the supplier and issue refunds.
As a result we had the foresight to delist all the bikes at the time of Notice, however, the damage had already been done and we can only apologise for this.

Why do you and a stock response asking for an order number, which you have probably not issued in the first instance. Why do you keep trading when you are simply taking the money and not sending the goods. Why blame your suppliers when they have nothing to do with the people who order from you in the first instance?

Ordered a item on 3/12/16 for a Xmas present. Money came out of account 5/12/16. Email straight away from company saying item would be posted when funds received with 3-5 working days. No item arrived. Phoned no answer and left messages no reply. Emailed on a good few occasions no reply. I then threatened legal action by email of which they replied within two hours with a invoice saying void. No refund back to bank. In completely same situation as yourself, feel pretty stupid now tho as probably only saving £5 by not getting same product off eBay and being protected by PayPal. Rest assured as you will get your money back through your bank eventually, they took the money from me also on the 5th, I'm still waiting to be refunded but confident as have the proof from them of my order cancellation and know was never delivered anything! I hope some body from this awful company is reading this and have trouble sleeping at night! I hope your in a financial position to buy a substitute present in the mean time. Takes nearly a month to respond to complaint and it's a stock answer. Have you been away for Christmas on the back of everyone who ordered from you? The same people who never received goods, refunds, emails, returned calls.

I'm in the same boat with a bike. they have 14 days from cancelling the order to refund but they have ignored that! i found a number but it is continually on answerphone with a south African accented male voice. I can't believe they get away with this!

Ordered a bike for my son for his main Xmas present on the 2nd of Dec,the money went out of my account the same day, received a generic email saying that my order was being processed, a week came and went, still no bike, sent a polite email asking for a rough idea on delivery but no reply, tried to call several times but all I got was a answer phone. I have never had an issue with Hermes, had several deliveries by them over the Christmas period with no hassle at all so don't try and pass the buck to someone else. As for your tense negotiations to try and recover monies I hope they give you the same treatment as you gave to your customers....Absolutely nothing!!

We have been in tense negotiations to recover our monies for these undelivered bikes from the supplier and issue refunds.
As a result we had the foresight to delist all the bikes at the time of Notice, however, the damage had already been done and we can only apologise for this. Please let us know your order number to make this right.
