Before I leave this review I just wanted to say that we’ve used AG before in the past for in stock items and they’ve been absolutely fine. However our latest experience of ordering some custom fit irons for our sons Xmas present, proved to be nothing short of a disaster and showed up a lot of process issues within the company. From the initial despatch timescales mentioned on their website (4-6 weeks detailed – took just under 5months to deliver), to numerous promised delivery dates missed, to poor written communication methods similar to those employed by Sports_Direct (no reply direct email addresses used), to missed supplier deliveries within their warehouses – we really found our dealings with AG for special order products incredibly stressful and a wholly unsatisfactory process. When the supplier is stating that 95% of their orders are being delivered within 90 days and we missed that timescale by a further 7 weeks, we feel that AG should have really been pulling out all the stops to look at ways of getting our order expedited – especially as we’d mentioned it was for a teenage sons Xmas present. I would say that if you need to use AG for in stock items then that’s one thing but from our experience if you need a custom fit product, then you should consider using either a bigger more established brand with better resources/systems, or a local professional shop who will have more of a vested interest in delivering good service

I ordered 1x driver and 4x wedges on 11 October. The driver was supplied. The wedges - still not two months later! Affordable Golf has consistently fobbed me off - including saying they'd left me a voicemail when that was untrue, promising, action and taking none. I have called eight times over two months to try and get this resolved. They blame Titleist. I have NO contract with Affordable Golf's suppliers - my contract is with Affordable Golf only. They’ve had £580 of my cash now for 2 months, supplied no goods, nor returned my money when I cancelled the order (when they said fulfilment would be early/mid-January - some Xmas present!!). Still no refund! Avoid this company!

Ordered at end of August and they said item was in stock. Then told it’s out of stock and stock arriving at end of September. Zero customer service. Smells like a company on the way under. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!

I ordered a new 3 wood from Affordable on 12th September, they took £199 from my account. They advised it wasn't in stock??? on 19th. Have tried to get update by phone and using their" ticket system several time since. Just get a message saying they are very busy, I am in a queue, or they don't answer the phone. Must be a long queue of dissatisfied customers, its 15 days now. Do affordable golf just not care about customer service

I ordered an Odyssey O-Works Black 2-Ball 2020 - Putter for £150 on the 10th August 2020 saying it was in stock and it is now 30th September 2020 and the club still hasn't arrived nor have I got any shipping confirmation or been contacted once. I have tried to contact them on multiple occasions by calling the customer service number and using the support button on the website and still no response. This is honestly the worst customer service I have ever experienced and the current situation is unacceptable. Still no word on where my club is and I strongly advise not to use.

After ordering my driver it took nearly 21 days for me to receive it, the excitement about buying soon deterated. Av also been at then to reinstate me with the fitting cost as they promise on there web site. I have sent 12 emails and then they asked me for my details to pay me and am still waiting. This has been the 2nd time someone has took my details to pay me. AVOID AT ALL COST

One of the worst experiences of my life dealing with this company. I got an email from them saying my product wouldn't be shipped until November. I asked for a refund but nobody responds to emails or answers the customer support line. I can post screenshots of almost 2 weeks of call logs to the support line and emails to the email address they have listed on the site. Phone any of the stores and they can't help you either! In fact they might hang up on you! Truly an insult to customer service that they are still in business. A complete lack of professionalism and standards is what you get from Affordable Golf

I have ordered a Driver 11 days ago, the website had it as in stock, the delivery said 4-7 days. Turns out they hadnt even got the club in stock and were waiting for delivery. Since then i have had no contact, i have been blocked from my account with no way of getting in, the phone lines have all changed and you can only do the emails, to which no one replies. Absolutely terrible service

Ordered a new set of clubs well over a week ago and still no word of when or if they will be dispatched. Customer services number just rings out and emails go unanswered. Absolutely shocking company and one to avoid if you want quick dispatch and/or peace of mind Wish I had gone with golfonline.co.uk who were offering the same clubs at a similar price but from past experience have far superior customer sevice and actually answer the phone.

Buyer beware, company advertise 1-2 days lead time and claim products are in stock and once order processed and also issue order confirmation to that fact ie ( contract). They blatantly make up false claims regarding why stocked item cannot be delivered. This was backed up when I spoke to a very childish, petulant and unprofessional team member or Director of the company, who admitted product was not in stock and would take another 14 days minimum to be delivered to them from supplier , this on top of the already 8 days I had been waiting already on a 1-2 day advertised/confirmed in order confirmation lead time. They have no concept that they breach certain consumer laws and I seriously doubt if they continue with this level of service will be in business for the long term. I have now cancelled the order and placed with a reputable company that I have used on many occasions who will deliver the Powakaddy FX7 trolley and cart bag within 5 days. The only reason I was using this awful company was the advertised 1-2 days lead time of delivery quoted on website and confirmed in order confirmation, which turned out to be misleading to say the least.. Absolutely dreadful!

Great swift service, have use many times and have never been disappointed Items as described - Great Pictures -Delivery as advertised - Priced reasonably Would recommend to any fellow golfer First Class AAAAA

My first order which was a full club set including driver was dealt promptly and delivered on time. However, after three visits to the course, the driver head snapped. I communicated this to affordable golf and they gave me credit to order a new one. However, when I ordered the new driver, after one day I was told this is out of stock even though it was showing online (the Callaway XR driver) .This was extremely frustrating as I was planning to play on the bank holiday weekend (Saturday 2nd May) with my Dad who was here for only the weekend. After a lot of call attempts and tries to explain my situation, I was told to order another driver which was in stock, hence, I ordered another Taylor made driver, requesting to deliver it in a day, I was promised this would be delivered on the Saturday 2nd May, However I have still not received this item and I was not even compensated for all the inconvenience caused and was dealt with quite a lack of care. Also, I have just been communicated (an hour ago) that the delivery is delayed again. From my experience I have realised three things about affordable golf: - Their online website is not updated with the in stock items. - Their customer service is not upto the mark i.e. I don't feel I am valued as a customer. - They promised me deadlines and products which they did not deliver. I will think thrice before using affordable golf again and any new customer should too. I was a satisfied loyal customer at the start but now I feel there are better alternatives to order golf equipment in the UK.

Contacted Affordable Golf in relation to a new set of irons that were classed as "In Stock". Company representative couldn't contact me enough to close the deal and offered £50 for my old clubs in part exchange. Once I signed the deal on-line I heard nothing for over a week so contacted them only to be told that the irons I ordered were in fact not in stock and they had to be ordered direct from the company. When I then made contact about the money for my old clubs they then went on to say that my old clubs were not as described and all they could offer me was 2 boxes of balls. My old clubs were exactly as described so I cancelled the order. It seemed to me that the original offer for my old clubs was to get me to sign up to the purchase of the new clubs on the proviso that once they had my old clubs they could drastically reduce the part exchange offer knowing that it would cost me the postage costs to get my clubs returned to me. Hugely disappointed in this company they failed on a number of fronts, the merchandise that was supposed to be in stock were not in stock, the part exchange offered was drastically reduced however the company did not alert me to this fact and if I hadn't made further contact the 14 day cancellation period would have expired and I could not have walked away from this "contract". Their level of communication was only entered into when prompted by me and they failed to follow up on calls when they said they would. Overall a disappointing on-line experience and I will not be using them again as it is it has cost me £20 postage to send and then have returned my own clubs.

I visited the Glasgow shop with a view to purchasing a new driver. The staff were incredibly helpful, recommending various clubs to test based on my ability and style. Their analysis of my swing assisted by the simulator was very insightful, allowing me to whittle down the various options to the one which best suited me. The staff even went the extra mile to post the club to London for me where I live. I will definitely be back whether it is for tees, balls, or a new set of irons!

Great service when ordering a custom fit spec. Got the Callaway X2 HOT Pro irons. The turn around was very prompt. Sent in my old irons as part exchange against the cost. First time out with new clubs shot a 78. Well pleased!
