“Why so I have to pay for their mistake”

I bought 2 pair of mules (that are fine) and 3 short sleeved shirts. The invoice shows agreement with my order. However, a picking mistake means that I have paid for 3 shirts that I do not want. Samuel Windsor are very sorry for the mistake and if I like to drive to the nearest collection point I can return them. The nearest collection point for me is a 20 mile round trip and I am disabled. As it was their mistake they could get a courier to collect the package. BE WARNED THIS IS NOT A GOOD FIRM TO DEAL WITH.

“SW Outdoor Mules”

Do not expect these mules to be waterproof. Saying they are 'outdoor' implies they are, but just walk over some damp grass and you'll get wet feet. I got nowhere speaking to so-called 'customer service' who were unsympathetic. Even reduced from £60 to £32.50 they are poor quality. Wear them with bare feet and the insole sticks to them. They have been advertised for ages so no doubt there's a shed full of them that SW cannot get rid of. I am surprised and disappointed as other SW products I have bought are excellent.

“Delivery problems”

I ordered 5 pairs of trousers and paid for 24 hour delivery on 1 February 2016. On 3 Feb I called SW to enquirer where my order was. They told me it had been despatched and would be with me next day. After waiting in all day on said day nothing came. When I called them they fobbed me off with excuses about the delivery driver having problems with my address. 5 days later I still had not received my order so I have now cancelled it and will not be returning.

We are sorry to hear this. Without having your order details it is difficult to comment fully in reply to your comments. If you would kindly email our customer service department, we will be happy to look into this and provide a full explanation. I would say however that our bi-annual stock take did start on the 1st Feb, and despatches were delayed until this was completed. We did advise you of this at the checkout stage when completing your order.

I ordered the above blazer for a special occasion in June,when I tried it on (or tried to get it on)it was a mile to small, my chest was measured before placing the order, so I have no idea what you think 48 long is it bears no relation to the blazer I recieved

“Shoes look great out of the box, but will wear out in...”

I bought these shoes as the previous Samuel Windsor shoes ended up with holes in the soles after 3 months. So I bought the Oxford prestige ones to see if these were any better. I wore them for 7 days in total and the sole and heel started to wear immediately. I sent them back under the 30day garauntee and Samuel Windsor refunded me less than I paid even though the goods they sent where not merchantable. Disgusting behaviour from such a company. Warning!! People pay a bit more and get quality.

“Boots with 7 Years of Daily Wear for £40!”

I have been wearing the same two pairs of Samuel Windsor Chealsea boots every work day for 7 years. They have had several new heels and I've protected the sole with a stick-on but other than that they are brilliant for the price. The good year welting has only now started to fail and I've been so impressed I've bought 2 more pairs. Now I can't vouch for their current quality, I bought my originals in 2007 so the quality may have changed and the price certainly has. However, if they last half as long as the last pair and look as good as they do in 7 years time I shall be very happy. The only thing that you need to do with these boots is protect the soles. The cheap price means that they are made of cardboard like leather that goes through very quickly. This is easily done with a stick on sole for about £5. Other than that they are superb and at the price, you can't beat them!

“Polo shirt din't survive its first wash”

Bought 2 polo shirts from Samuel Windsor. This was the first time I had used them and I liked the look of their product range. Received the shirts promptly within a few days and was initially pleased with the purchase. After wearing one of the shirts, it was consigned to the wash which was where the issue arose. Despite being washed in accordance with the manufacturers instructions, The shirt emerged in a shrunken condition. After being allowed to dry naturally, it has shrunk by 3 inches (compared against the unused shirt). I have toyed with returning both shirts to Samuel Windsor, but given that the shrunken shirt is just about wearable, albeit a little short and That I got the shorts at sale price, I have decided not to bother. I won't however be buying anything else from them in future.

“We got there in the end and I am delighted”

I have been trying to buy shoes and other gents clothing for my husband online as he works away and I can't get him to the shops. We struggled gettign the shoe size right as they seem to be a bit hit and miss. I guess that is one of the problems buying stuff like this on line -you can't try them on. Now he has 4 pairs of shoes which he is really happy with. I also got him a tweed jacket and a shirt. Ordering 6 things I expected to be sending at least one back, he loved them all. Excellent value and they arrived within two days to his work address. The return method is a bit of a drag, going to a parcel collection point but at least its prepaid by them and there are labels. All in all, very pleased. He is ordering more himself now. Thanks

We have been shopping with Samuel Windsor for a great number of years , but have found the last two pair of shoes & boots of bad quality !!! I have had to send 3 pairs of faulty shoes back !!! Each time they returned they looked worse then the last , I have emailed them several times & although there sorry , thats all they say!!!!! you think after all the years we have shopped with them they could come up with something better than that ( like how can we keep your custom & some sort of credit would be a nice gesture !! After all we have been with them for almost ten years maybe more , so thanks Samuel Windsor .

“Very poor customer service”

I had to return some shoes via a returns label supplied by Samuel Windsor through Collect+. On checking if they had received the package after 5 days I was continually told they had not received the package even on the 9th day after posting they still said they hadn't got it. Then an email came saying they had the package, followed by another email saying they hadn't. On checking with Collect+ I found the shoes had been received two days after posting, so where were they for 7 days. I am now told that the replacement can't be sorted out as they are having their annual stock take although they are still advertising goods for sale on both their website and an email I received today. 6 different Customer Advisors have answered my emails, and none of them sorted the problem.
