I felt I had to write a review to counter the poor reviews given by others.
I went to Vistaprint for business cards after I saw their TV ad. When I initially looked at the designs, it was soon clear that I would be customising the design. It was quite clear this would add extra cost. However, the amount of customisation made this very worthwhile.
I finished the design and then went through the checkout process, which is a bit laborious, but not that bad. This is the point at which it became apparent that the card were going to be more expensive than I first thought.
I opted for 350 gram card, as I wanted them to be of good quality (I hate thin cards as they look cheap and nasty and don't give a good impression).
I also opted to pay extra to not have the Vistaprint logo on the back of the cards.
So, what started out as about £12 for 1000 cards ended up as £38 for 2000. However, they have arrived and I reckon I got a great deal as the cards are very very good. Thick, straight, clean, clear, vivid colour - overall, they look professional.
I chose 21 day delivery (as it was the cheapest) and they arrived within a week!
I would definitely recommend Vistaprint. If you want free cards, expect them to be flimsy and boring. If you want quality, pay a little extra - its well worth it.
btw uncheck any boxes which allow them to pass on your details - it seems that they scam money out of you if you don't. I haven't experienced it, but have read many reviews where people have.

I have experienced many problems with Vistaprint after signing up for Vistaprint Plus, which costs £5/month, but supposedly gives you £10 credit per month, yet I have never received the credit. After complaining, they gave me £10.50 credit, but then repeatedly didn;t give me my £10/month credit since!
