I recently visited Vision Express at Loughborough branch and had a really good experience. I booked online but didn't receive the phone call back to confirm the appointment I was trying to make so called the branch instead to check all had gone through. Unfortunately the appointment date I wanted was not available but that didn't matter so made one for my earliest convenience. I was greeted with a smile and a welcome as I walked in and was asked to sit in a very comfy chair while they made preparations for me.
After all the preliminary tests I was assigned to a very charming lady Optometrist who was courteous and respectful; and listened to any problems I might have with my eyesight, as I am Diabetic. I then was assigned to a charming young man who helped me choose my glasses and in no way did he push me to spend more than was needed which was a refreshing change. I bought 3 pairs of specs and a lanyard to use which was recommended as I always put them on my head when not in use! I left the branch with the assurance that if I had any problems I was not to hesitate to go back.
The only thing missing from the service was a cup of tea or coffee while I made up my mind which specs to choose! Perhaps that little add-on might be one for the manager to look into? My spectacles fitted perfectly and again I was treated as a valued customer. I shall be back next year for my 12 month check up and would recommend to friends and family to use Loughborough branch. Having my eyes tested now doesn't seem such a daunting prospect since going to Vision Express - well done all of you!
