To all staff at Tesco's Tower Park Poole Dorset Opticians A great big THANK YOU for your kindness and patience.Briefly I came in for some new glasses with my Daughter, was tested by a young Lady shown some frames chose 2 pairs so far all is fine.Was told they would ring when ready.Well time went on no phone call so after a few weeks I called in to check on the delay.Was told they had not been sent back from Suplier.So one of staff said if I waited she would ring them to find out what had happened.This she did and was informed the Lens would not fit the frame as they were varifocals So order had to be cancelled. She very wise recorded conversation on their computer.So once more had to chose more frames which I did. She then said she would ring the supplier to check if these frames would be ok giving all relevent details to the person who said yes that would be fine when asked are you sure replied YES 100% sure the order would be fine.So back to waiting once more for my 2 pairs of presciption glasses .Time went by still no glasses so once more I went back to Tesco's Opticians, once more, was treated with Kindness respect and dismay by staff because this had gone on so long....Once more she rang supplier to find out yet again what the problem was was, informed yet again Lens were not suitable for frame, back to choosing more frames. When told her was assured this time by him that he was 100% sure everything would be fine they tried to say she was wrong .I was with her all the times she spoke to them about frames lens etc, and it was also recorded on her PC.Poor girl was so upset she had to tell them her Manager was being informed of conversations and put phone down Well needless to say the manager was on phone to them boy did the hit the fan I was once more informed no matter what I would get my 2 pair of glasses for sure and be compensated for the suppliers putting me through so much trouble.Well today I go a phone call saying my glasses are in and I have been back to collect them Nice top of the range Glassses good fit and was made so welcome, by now I feel like one of the family...All staff at all times to me were brilliant and understanding To the Managers of Tesco's Please be proud of your staff for the way they treated me when none of the problems were their fault.... So good on you all, each and every one of you.
