The person at Spec Tec managed to repair my Gucci prescription sunglasses despite a very prominent, sophisticated looking online spectacle repairer, who claimed to be able to repair almost everything, telling me the glasses were totally irrepairable!!

Yes,it took a little while - just under 2 weeks and yes, he didnt communicate to me what he was doing to the glasses which was slightly worrying. However, I received a phonecall to say my glasses were repaired and the cost including 1st class postage would be £40. A fraction of what the glasses would cost to replace. I am delighted and amazed with the repair and, if you can be patient, I would very strongly recommend giving Spec Tech a chance to do what they obviously do best - mend glasses!
