Ordered spex. Never came. Never got my refund. Have been chasing for months but not a single response. Digusting company

I ordered a pair of rimless prescription distance glasses from this company on 1st December 2016. I paid by PayPal I received confirmation from both of my order straight away. On 9th December I received a text from Glasses Experts saying they have the frame (what frame!!!) in stock and that it would be moved from the warehouse to the Laboratory. After that I started checking the status of my order on their website and week after week all it was saying was "processing". After hearing nothing from them I started trying to contact them through their website contact form then by email with no response from either. I then tried phoning them and all I got was what sounded like an engaged tone. In the end I contacted Paypal and started a case with them, this was on 5th January 2017. Paypal contacted me later to say they had sent them a message and should receive a response from them. On 11th January Glasses direct finally contacted me saying " we have received the lenses from our supplier for the frame, the order will be processed and dispatched ASAP." And then finally on 16th January a package arrived by courier with the glasses inside. Horray! Unless you are prepared for a long wait avoid using this firm and if you do use them, use Paypal to pay them as I beleive if I hadn't raised a case with them I would still be waiting now.

The company were quick to take my money and confirm my order, but invisible when I came to track my order. Their Customer Helpline is out of order, their Customer live chat system is 'offline', their Sales email address is 'not found', their name is not showing at companies house. They have clearly gone OUT OF BUSINESS but are still taking customer money. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The upshot is they are operating under false presences and taking money. I am about to report them to the Optical Ombudsman agencies

These people do not give a a damn, if you have a problem with their glasses they just ignore your emails etc. would not recommend at all steer clear at all cost.

I ordered a pair of glasses from their range, in a large size,138mm across. The glasses I received would not fit my 8 year old Granddaughter. I sent a photo with my Boots 138mm glasses & theirs to show the huge difference in size between the two pairs. Glasses Experts.co asked me to send them back to be" examined in their Lab" & after a couple of weeks agreed to refund me in full. I'M STILL TRYING TO GET THROUGH TO THEM !!! Weeks & Weeks Later, No refund .No contact. Try someone else who sell real glasses for adults.

I was a little anxious about ordering eyeglass frames online from this company b/c I saw some negative reviews, in addition to positive ones. I checked out other online eyeglass sites though and saw similar wildly conflicting reviews, so I just decided to take a chance. I figured there can be bogus reviews, both good and bad, on the internet, so how do you know for sure? I originally ordered 4 pairs of eyeglass frames from glassesexperts.co.uk, but was able to cancel 2 of them before my order had been fully processed. The phone number given on the email confirmation did work and customer service was courteous and helpful. They replied to every email I sent in a timely manner. Moreover, even though I was a little beyond the 24-hour cancellation period, they did not charge a restocking fee (lenses for the 2 glasses I cancelled had not yet been ordered from the supplier when I called). I did receive the correct credit to my PayPal in less than 48 hours. glassesexperts.co.uk graciously sent the 2 remaining frames via DPD at no extra charge, and I got them 10 days after I placed my order. There was a tracking number, which gave me more peace of mind. I received both frames in perfect condition. I chose the one that suited me best and sent the other pair back. I would definitely order from this company again when I need new frames and have no hesitation recommending them.

I got some amazing glasses on the internet because I couldn't find them anywhere was. I found them on glassesexperts, I took the chance and ordered them with out trying them on. What more can I say than I love them.

I recently ordered two pairs of reading glasses, both pairs were as described and good quality. My only issue was that one of the glasses cases was in poor condition when I received it (the inner lining was distorted and detached from the outer case). I emailed glassesexperts customer services, they apologized and sent a replacement immediately. I experienced a very good standard of service throughout the process and would use them again without hesitation.

Required my first ever prescription for some driving glasses. Online ordering and payment was straight forward and prices (including lens coatings etc.) were excellent. Constantly kept informed regarding the status of my order and once dispatched arrived promptly and in the allotted delivery time window. Would highly recommend.

I had a chat with a representative when ordering the glasses as well as receiving a friendly follow up text before they were shipped - both were very helpful and professional. Just to test out a prescription I decided to buy 2 pairs of glasses in the £18 range and I must say that they look great. Have been using them for several weeks now and still very please with them. This was not the first time I purchased glasses from exclusiveyes neither will it be the last. Very good company to do business with, helpful and responsive staff, quick delivery and excellent prices.

After ordering four pairs of glasses for my parents for ridiculously cheap, I was skeptical. Plus, I've worn glasses all my life, so I know how expensive buying glasses at the optometrist can be. This place proved me wrong, they have great customer service and dirt cheap prices. This will be the only place I buy glasses from from now on.

I was looking around for some new prescription sunglasses for my holidays and after searching and pricing up for a while I found glasseseexperts.co.uk. I found their prices very competitive and the site very easy to get around. I really struggled to find frames that I liked though (I am very choosy). I then discovered that they re-glaze. So I sent off a designer frame I never wore to have them re-glazed as prescription sun glasses. The cost of the re-glaze was very low and the service was excellent. Within a few days I received my sun glasses back, so I now have my own designer prescription sunglasses at an amazing price. I would certainly recommend this site and will use them again.

Never realised how good value it was if you ordered glasses online. Glasses Expets just put in your prescription choose your frames & lense package & away you go. Always had swift delivery for each order. I have bought 3 pairs of new pairs of specs for what 1 x pairs would cost in a high street opticians. Some of these are designer brands as well. I know I hear you cry your opinion in 1 sentence says 3 pairs, yep I ordered 1 pair from another online supplier, never again, bad experience. I will just use Glasses Experts in future, as the 2 from them have had the correct prescription. I measured my own PD (pupilary distance,) and seem to have got it just right, following some online guidance on how to measure it. Got my last pair this morning, one with the added brown sunglass tint, which was FREE, usually you have to pay extra elsewhere for this. These are already proving a god send for driving in this beautiful sunshine. Their lense packages are excellent value, I usually go for the basic lenses. I have got 2 x pairs recently for £35, as free pair, you just can't argue. Both the frames I have had have been good quality & I have been lucky that each pair has suited my face.

My glasses arrived quickly. I love them. Customer service were quick and efficient to answer my questions. I've bought 4 pairs of glasses over the past year and wouldn't buy them from anywhere else. Have recommended them to all my friends. Thank you

I posted 2 pairs of frames to glasses experts before reading this page, and got very panicky after getting through these reviews! I agree with the other reviewers that the communication is pretty poor. They don't answer the phone, and you get a horrid "thank you for calling glasses experts" message looped when you call them. I sent quite a few emails, some were replied to, others not. I asked if they had received the frames 1 week after I posted them first class, the reply I got basically said "We would let you know as soon as we get the frames". So you don't have my frames then? No reply. Then, I got a confirmation that the had the lenses in stock. So you do have my frames then? The reply saying they had both pairs of frames came 5 days later. I got a confirmation that my order was complete and my order would be dispatched in 1-2 days. One pair of glasses arrived a week after that confirmation - nearly 3 weeks from when I posted my frames. I've since got two confirmations that the lenses are in stock and my order would be processed ASAP. I asked what was going on, and .... no reply. I can't say I would use them again, but I do have at least 1 pair of reglazed glasses, and I'm cautiously optimistic about getting the other pair. If you have ordered from them, all is not lost.

Ordered glasses from them in early November '13 through PayPal (fortunately). To cut a long story short I had three emails and a 'phone call in response to my complaints about non-delivery and had different excuses and promises each time. Eventually got a refund from PayPal after Xmas. This company should be hounded off the internet as they are a complete waste of time and effort. Be warned.
