Poor Service

I went to Asda Rotherham for an eye test I was passed from assistant to assistant who were more interested in sales and not the customer in hand. Eventually the optician ending up doing some of tests so he could commence the eye test and recommended glasses. I was then passed back to a non interested member of staff who told me to pick frames and after choosing one by myself no assistance from the staff advised it would take 10-14 days to come back from the makers and they would ring me when ready.
40 days later I rang to enquire where my glasses where and was told by the assistant it takes 10-14 days to arrive. I then told her I had been waiting for 40 days, no phone call her reply was "Well they only came in today, come and collect them". I then asked if I needed to arrange a fitting and she stated no and they would fit me in when they could.
My colleague went to Asda at Scunthorpe for his glasses and the staff were totally professional keeping him informed at all times. I have now picked up the glasses and cannot see properly bearing in mind I am supposed to drive with them, I am told they will settle down and get used to them. Great as I work in CCTV and can view the screens better without the glasses I have no faith in this business and have now booked an eye test with a local optician as I do not believe these results. Very poor uninterested staff, use at your peril. Do not use.
