“Do not trust them with your credit information!”

★☆☆☆☆

written by GermanSherwood413 on 31/05/2022

I placed items in a cart and did not confirm. Yesterday, they called my daughter who does NOT have permission to use this credit card and is not on the account other than as the patient. They got her to place a $350.00 order. Once the shipment is received and returned, it will then take them an additional 10 days to process the refund. So I am OUT $350 for a couple weeks. Will NEVER use this service again.

“ALWAYS OVERPRICED!!”

★☆☆☆☆

written by on 19/08/2012

1800contacts is always overpriced, I usually find a significantly lower price on lens.com - 1800contacts does have a price match guarantee, but why charge 15$ more a box in the first place? I think the purpose of the price match guarantee is to put other companies out of business so they can charge whatever they want!

“CL Wearers are Like Crack Addicts”

★☆☆☆☆

written by on 18/07/2012

Contact lens wearers are like crack addicts. They will do anything, say anything to get their lenses including sneaking around from place to place trying to find the "cheapest price." I was no different ! I kept ordering my contact lenses thru 1800 contacts and of course hadn't been to my doctor in 4-5 years. Meanwhile, 1800 contacts kept giving me my lenses even through the prescription was expired. Then, I got a huge ulcer on my cornea. So, I had to go back to my doctor with my tail between my legs and tell him the true story. He was horrified that I was getting lenses for almost 5 years with no check up. He called 1800 contacts and of course, their fine print says they aren't responsible. Now I have a huge scar on my cornea and can only see best 20/40 out of that eye. Guess what, 1800 Contacts doesn't care. The moral of the story. Stay with your doctor and pay $20 more. Its worth it in the long run.

“ordering contacts just got easier”

★★★★★

written by RVeck on 28/06/2012

After my last visit to the eye doctor, I asked him if I could get my presciption so I could order it through 1800contacts as i had seen on the commercials. It was easier than I thought. I used the one day service and sure enough, it was sitting on my front porch the next day. Amazing!
