I rang due my kick pedal breaking on day 1 of recording an album (never good) and I was desperate to get the replacement parts. I had 2 very small parts that combined with the rest of the pedal to form the Vari beater that had broken.
DrumSource didn't have the exact 2 parts I needed in stock but because they knew their stuff and had the schematics of the pedal, they could tell me that it would be quicker and cheaper to buy the whole Vari Beater which they did have in stock. Epic.
The main thing that impressed me was even though my band is not the biggest in the world and we are not by any means famous they still cared and empathised with the fact my pedal had broken and I had stuff I needed to do with it. Super cool,
