“C-Beam CNC”

★★★★★

written by dogsaresentient on 09/03/2018

I purchased a C-Beam CNC kit from robocutters the last week in February 2018, the attention to detail, communication and service was top notch. They even did remote support onto my computer and set up the CNC software for me when the kit was built, this service alone saved me hours of research. Can't fault them, I saw the C-Beam machine at a friend of mines house, he told me the same thing, top service, top blokes to deal with.

“We are in dispute with one of his current companies -...”

★☆☆☆☆

written by on 08/02/2016

We are in dispute with one of his current companies - EuropeCNC aka Robocutters - which sold us a pile of mis-formed, disorganised bits. He claims this is the kit CNC machine which we ordered. But loads of parts are missing and the assembly instructions are just a joke. Attempts to return under the consumer act are rebuffed. Trading Standards are taking an interest but you know they can't do much. Small Claims Court is handling the money side for us. Trouble is that he has been director of six prior companies, most dealing in CNC kit and most of them registered at the same address. All of those six companies have been dissolved. Trading Standards say some of them were wound up owing big money to customers. So we're pessimistic about out missing £grand. Don't get caught! Check who is the director of that CNC company you think you're about to buy from. Then look them up on companycheck and companieslist to see if they have a history of ducking and diving. He also claims to be UK agent for OpenBuilds. We're checking this out and will report back. Bear in mind... he's done nothing illegal. Well, apart from posting some dodgy Ts & Cs on his current three websites about returns not being accepted under any circumstances. But it really is OK, in the UK, for one of his companies to take your money and then be wound up leaving you with nothing. He is untouchable. So don't touch him. Not even with a bargepole and certainly not with a credit card. If he - or one of his companies registered - has given you grief or lost you money then why not get in touch with Trading Standards in Middlesbrough. They would love to hear from you.

“there web site has stopped trading”

★☆☆☆☆

written by Davidson215 on 13/07/2015

I have over £100 of back orders and the company has closed web site and no longer return my emails. lucky for me I used paypal but this company and the person I dealt with are still trading on ebay. I will make it my business to track robocutter.uk to the ends of the earth.

The website was and still is trading. Are you a competitor perhaps?

“Robocutters.co.uk OX Max CNC”

★☆☆☆☆

written by on 18/07/2014

I bought a OX Max CNC kit from Robocutters.co.uk it took them 10 weeks before I received my first delivery. The whole thing has been a farce from the start. I've had to start, stop the project a number of times because of incorrectly supplied parts or shortages. After 12 weeks from placing my order I received the kress router but no mount. When I finally got to the last of the frame assembly I found I was short of one bracket and there was some damage to the x axis rail. All items were marked as present and checked off on their itinerary sheet, yet were still short. By this time I felt that this was getting beyond a joke and told him so. Here is the email trail because you need to know how you will be treated if you buy from them. I've changed my name to XXX. There are always two sides to every story so make up your own mind. please read from the bottom up so you get the timeline correct. It's a bit of a read but if you're thinking of spending several hundred pounds on a CNC Router/Plasma cutter, I strongly recommend you read this. We are now at 4 Months and I have now received the full order, but the 20mm plasma attachment was supplied at 18mm not the 20mm its supposed to be and so is useless. Before you continue I must point out that this is an openbuilds.com concept and is fantastic. I would recommend buying directly from them in the USA where you'll receive efficient courteous service. It's very simple, I want you to drop the attitude and supply me with what I paid for and in a reasonable time frame. It's been over three Months since I first placed my order. I think I've been more than patient. Still outstanding :- 1 x TB6600HD Pro 4 axis controller 1 x Kress mount 1 x 20mm mount 1 x 3 hole corner bracket The item that is damaged is the 80x20 1.5 mtr rail that the Y gantry runs on. There are 2 in the kit as you well know, one of which has the damage. More photos will not show the damage any better. This is absolutely my last correspondence on this. 1. When I post the emails they will be including the headers and the source code to show they are un-edited. 2. I couldn't care less if you use, don't use knives to open the rails when you receive them. How that is interesting to you I have no clue. I'm simply telling you that mine have what look like knife damage. 3. Quote "I will replace or send missing parts if asked to do so properly." Are you for real, I've heard quite enough. Who do you think you are? Send me what I've already bought and paid for or face the consequences. No more discussion. I note that you do not respond to the fact we do not use knives to open the rails when we get them, that in itself is interesting. > > As far as I am aware, I owe you a TB6600 control board, 1 x 3 hole bracket, a kress mount, and a 20mm plasma adapter, if you still want these i will supply them. Damn man,

No wonder you got bad service, these guys are not your slaves just because you buy something from them!

The guy was spot on with this comment 'if it is asked for in a courteous manner, not demanded, bullied or sarcastically asked for'

Your attitude was disgusting.
