I have brought a lot from this company and had it shipped over to Portugal where it is nice and hot but not as hot as Spain where they have 3 sites, if you live abroad DONT buy anything from this company, on there old site it use to give 10 years warranty but now they only offer 2 the reason being the sun magnifies through the glass and the Ratten go’s brittle and brakes of so u end up with holes everywhere. Trust me not but if you live in England it’s no problem

I ordered the Haiti cube set from Oceans. I am extremely disappointed. The chairs are very low back and too uncomfortable to sit on. After speaking to their customer service advisor I was told that it would be £150 to return the item. They will not take on board that their photo on the site is misleading. I took a comparison photo and sent it to them and so far they have refused to answer my email. The photo they use does not give the impression that the back of the seat will barely come above your lower back. Their customer service is poor and they say things like 'no customer has ever complained of this before' when , low and behold, I found another customer on another review site that made EXACTLY the same complaint. Rude company that don't care what your experience is once they have your money. Go elsewhere.

I ordered a whole bunch of furniture from the Spanish store and they were terrible in delivering the products. First they used a contractor who left all the furniture in my building's hallway on a Friday night. I was too that if I paid the drivers, they would deliver the furniture to my apartment. There was only one person and he would refuse to do so. I had to hire another company to deliver the furniture. After opening the furniture, they had sent the wrong ones. They then had their delivery service to deliver the furniture but on the day of delivery they claimed that some of it was stolen. Next, they delivered the furniture but after staying home the entire day, nothing was delivered. They delivered the following day and again, this time the cushions were missing. An order that was suppose to take a week took eight weeks. They are the worse and I wouldn't do business with them again and I certainly wouldn't recommend them.

We have now after looking into this review found that this does not belong to Oceans UK and the order was delivered to Barcelona in Spain. The customer was categorically told the goods would be delivered to the front door only and not to his apartment which is what the courier did. On occasions couriers will take into the property which they did but simply refused to take them upstairs when the customer told them he lived in an Attic apartment on the 5th floor with no lift access. Oceans then paid 360 Euros for the goods to be moved to the Attic apartment the customer DID NOT pay this bill it was paid by Oceans a gesture of goodwill. We did NOT send the wrong goods the customer asked to exchange the Haiti Cube set for a Costa Rica Cube set which once again we did FOR FREE. The cushions were categorically NOT missing as we did this with our transport this time as the customer was being extremely difficult. However we sent new cushions just to keep the customer happy I notice they have failed to mention that and indeed failed to mention that we offered to refund and collect all the goods. I truly wish we had never taken this order from the customer as with the costs incurred we have lost considerable money on this order. All the thanks we received for our efforts was this bad review which as you will see is not anything like our normal reviews. We have a Product level and Service level second to none in our industry and I challenge anyone to try us and see for themselves how good our product and service.

When my husband and I retired 5 years age, at 68 we treated ourselves to some of your garden furniture, the dining set,armchairs, settee and coffee table. We spend a lot of time in the garden and this is the best room in the house. I was devastated when one of my dining chairs broke, as we entertain friends in the garden. I contacted customer service and asked if there may be some spare dining chairs or the broken bold and attachment. I spoke to someone who went to the trouble of discussing it with a gentleman in the wharehouse. She subsequently contacted me to let me know that she was sending a new bolt in the post. However on arrival I found that the plastic piece was not there and spoke to her again and she informed me that this piece was not availabe, however the gentleman in the wharehouae found 2 identical chairs to mine. I Purchased the two chairs and am delighted with them and now have a full set of chairs and a spare! I want to thank the person I dealt with for bending over backwards to help me. This service is not universa!!! I would be grateful if my grattitude be shared with both the person I dealt with and with her managers. Best wishes, a happy customer

Bought the Haiti cube table with 4 chairs and 4 stools. Arrived quickly with excellent communication throughout the process. Product looks lovely and is very practical. Also the chairs are really comfortable. The cushion covers, which have a sort of sheen to make them, are easy to wipe and are washable which is really practical. Overall, excellent value for money.

I have been looking around garden centres and shops for a nice garden furniture (rattan style) set for ages but wasn't really convinced. My friend recommended Oceans as he has had their sofas for number of years and they still look fantastic. After checking their website I have decided to drive up to Oxford and have a look at the sets myself. I am over the moon with my sofas (I have also bought an extra middle section and small table and chairs for amazing price). The delivery was prompt and the trade manager lady super helpful. I get so many compliments on the furniture. Really happy customer.

We took delivery of our Jamaican six-seater cube and New York Bistro sets last week. The furniture really is of a very high quality and exactly as described by Oceans. We're delighted with what we've bought (at a great price!). Delivery was within the expected timeframe. The driver phoned ahead as promised and was very friendly and helpful. He was happy to get all the boxes up on to a raised patio and double-checked that all the boxes were correct and complete. He certainly helped make the whole experience with Oceans very pleasant. The furniture was easy to unpack and assemble. The covers for the cube and the parasol are well made and fit well. Time will tell as to how well everything lasts - but based on how it looks and feels it should be just fine. The only improvement I can suggest is an easy comparison chart on the website (a simple grid covering key attributes across the sets). That would help in the decision making. Recommended.

Just received the jamican cube set, all I can say is the service and the item is perfect, such helpful staff and a great product so happy I had to write this review, I ordered it in mocha although I would call it more grey which is exactly what I wanted, and great quality . I purchased 6 seater Jamaica table and chairs 2015. The weather cover had faded and it had a split appearing. I rang customer service who were so helpful and said they would send a replacement. There was no quibble and no problems. All I can say is that it was a quick painfree call with a fabulous lady. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Oceans.. highly recommended *****

I purchased my furniture a number of years ago and needed replacement cushions as mine had got a bit tatty I couldn't remember the name of my set so was confused as to which ones to purchase. I called customer services and spoke to a lovely lady who checked for me and advised that I had the deluxe cube and pointed me in the right direction as to which cushions I needed. Great customer service very friendly and helpful. My furniture still looks brand new eventure after 6 years of this being left outside uncovered. Thank you Oceans a great company with great customer service and great furniture.

Sales advice was excellent, had no clue what I wanted, the sales lady listened to what was important to me and advised accordingly. The sofa set is perfect for me & I would never of made the choice on my own. Promised sunshine too, nice touch but I'm still waiting for that. Very pleased lady :)

I ordered some products from Oceans as they had been recommended to me by a friend who said there product and service was second to none. well they were not wrong, i placed my order with a very helpful girl in the office, she was extremely helpful in explaining all the sets to me and what the virtues of each were. The products I chose in the end were not quite what I originally was going to purchase but i have to say that what was delivered was of superb quality and far superior to some items i viewed at my local garden centre. They were delivered in 4 days and i did have a small problem with a cushion cover that had a piece of loose material on it. When i called to speak to someone they promised to send a spare cushion out and to my amazement it arrived before i left for work the next morning. Superb products and superb service which in today's world is sometimes very hard to find, well done Oceans i will undoubtedly recommend you to others.

We had become increasingly confused by the sheer number of different companies offering Garden Furniture and decided the only way to determine value was to go and see products and we decided to visit the Oceans showroom and clearance centre near Banbury. Do not be put off by the premises it is housed in a large warehouse on an industrial Estate and is a working site. We were immediately welcomed by a fork-lift driver who directed us to the office, after that we were looked after by three members of staff who could not do enough in understanding our interest & needs and guiding us on options, this was friendly advice not high pressure selling ! We selected a Bahama 6 seat dining set and Super Deluxe Cube set from the clearance sale, after any faults were pointed out to us ! The price reductions were very attractive with a further reduction given based on a current sales promotion for perfect priced products. What struck us was the fact that all the staff seemed to be enjoying working together at Oceans. The goods arrived on time and the delivery drivers were extremely helpful, putting the furniture in our chosen spot in the garden. The quality of the furniture is very high and although we purchased clearance items we would have no hesitation in purchasing further perfect items at the full price, in the future from Oceans.

Lots and lots and lots of issues. Avoid this company unless you want to be infuriated. Unreliable and they really don't care. It is a great pity that their service doesn't match up to their product quality and value. If I was responsible for Oceans, I would replace the management of the service team immediately.

I would seriously question that this review is for Oceans Outdoor Rattan Furniture as we excel normally excel in everything we do. If this review had not been posted anonymously i would personal contact the customer and try to ascertain what had gone wrong if this did relate to our company. There are many Ebay traders that use the name Oceans in their company title but do not have anything to do with Oceans.

Once again we have tried to identify this customer and simply cannot find anything in our records to suggest this is a genuine review. The customer wishing to remain anonymous leads us to suspect this is a fraudulent review by someone trying to damage our excellent reputation by which can be seen on this review site and many others including our 5 star rating on google shops!

Ordered the costa rica set with parasol ,stated delivery was immediate.After i paid i get email to say item is not in stock .After i phone and complain i get another email to say item will be delivered end of week ..Item arrives incomplete , im then told parasol will arrive in 7 days .I then recieve email to say theres a problem and item is not being delivered today .I call oceans and the lady there is very unhelpfull & rude , basically said ..item has left us so is down to the courier you call them.

We know exactly which customer this review refers to and at every stage of the process he was informed of the stock position. The set ordered was due into us 3 days after the order was processed and the customer was informed of this, The parasol was out of stock due to high demand he was told this would follow in 21 days. At the time of order the customer was happy with this. The order and stock items were delivered within our 5 day lead time. This customer has been very abusive on the phone to our customer service team and we have had to on 2 occasions end the call due to his abusive language. I as the Managing Director have listened to the recorded calls this person has made and i am shocked with the language used and abusive nature of the call. I would not expect anyone in any position to have listen to abusive comments and language used by this customer. It is sometimes not possible to please everyone and with people like this we would sooner not supply but it is not possible to choose who we supply. I do not think there is anything we could ever do to satisfy this customer.

This company advrtises as in stock .then wait till they have your money before they revil they are out of stock .Ive lost 3 days wages from this company ...check all the other review about there customer services ...They basically wash there hands with you once they have your money and despached goods .AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!!!!-

I am not sure who you are and do not have a record of this complaint on our system. Oceans are the longest serving company selling PE Rattan furniture in the UK and we pride ourselves on the product and our service. We are the original developers and importers of this product back in 2002 and we do find it strange that this complaint has been written and submitted in the way it has. I would love to know who you are and also where this other review is that says the same as you have commented on. I know we cannot please all of the people all of the time but the Haiti cube set has been sold for 7 years now and we have sold somewhere in the region of 65,000 of these in both Black and Coffee. Please do let me know who you are and i will personally resolve this for you.

Did you know your customer services team are not accepting genuine claims on your usp 10 year material guarantee due to Oceans liquidating one of the Oceans companies in the group. Very disappointing that Oceans does not meet its contractual promises and commitments.
