Ordered a lawnmower on next day delivery to my work address, but despite receiving an email from the courier (XDP Express) on Monday night that it would be delivered on Tuesday, it wasn't delivered by 3pm and I phoned LawnMowersDirect, who gave me XDP's number in Norwich, who gave me their Head Office number, who gave me their South West depot number, who said that someone from LawnMowersDirect had phoned them this morning to delay delivery until Wednesday!

I phoned LawnMowersDirect again, who claimed that XDP were lying and that they would arrange for delivery to my home address tomorrow (Wednesday). On Wednesday I emailed LawnMowersDirect that I thought there may be a problem with the delivery today because it did not show up on XDP's tracking system and they emailed me back to say that delivery would be between 4.30 and 5pm.

You will not be surprised that XDP phoned me Wednesday afternoon to say (yes, you guessed!) that they could not make delivery to my work address because no-one was there!

So, the product (a Honda self-propelled mower) might have been brilliant but we will never know!

UPDATE The mower arrived fine and I am very happy with it (a Honda Izzy). The problem seems to have been with the courier, not with LawnMowersDrect, which I do sympathise with - couriers do seem to have got worse over the last couple of years!
