Never bought from Knives and Tools before and, like many people these days, my funds aren’t what they were. So onto the website I went to look for a solid fixed blade knife that suited my needs. Obviously all the ones I wanted were far out of my price range, so I eventually decided to try Boker Magnum Advance Pro. I thought it would be a case of ‘ just good enough’ - until I could afford better. Knife arrived 4 days after ordering well packaged and discrete. The knife itself in nice packaging, but the nicest thing is the knife! I don’t usually go for these military looking knives, I prefer plain steel and wood, but the Magnum may be the exception! The description on the K&T site had made it sound too good to be true - but not so! You get exactly what’s advertised, and a good knife it is! Ok so the 440c steel isn’t going to excite hand forgers but it’s a tried and tested metal that sharpens easily. The balance is impressive- just where I like it an inch or so in front of the leading finger- and the blade is heavy enough to give you all the strength you could want. The sheath is black nylon - again not a personal favourite- but surprises with the attention to detail that’s gone into it. Someone actually sat down and planned it out, it’s not just a cheap after thought. All this for less than £25! In fact I’m so happy with my K&T experience (and product) that I find myself in the market for a folding knife and I reckon I’ll be shopping at K&T again, and possibly getting the Boker magnum Advance folder! For me finding K&T -and chancing so called budget knives- has all been a 5 Star experience.Excellent.

On 26 May 2021 i ordered two knives from Knives and Tools. I am a repeat customer so they have all my details including my address. The knives were being delivered by UPS who gave me a delivery date . On the day UPS sent a message that they were unable to deliver as the address on the parcel was incomplete. I contacted Knives and Tools who give UPS my correct address. Then nothing happened. In the end I emailed Knives and Tools three times cancelling my order. Knives and Tools response is that they will not refund my money until they get the knives back, for some reason they cannot ask UPS to return the knives to them. When UPS finally deliver (if ever) I am expected to decline delivery of the knives and UPS will then return them to Knives and Tools. Knives and Tools don't seem to care that UPS who having been given my correct address have not delivered the knives in the three weeks since receiving that information. I have been forced to raise this as a dispute with my Credit Card Company and am now researching how to sue a company in the Netherlands to get my money back.

I have spent thousands on Kai knives and never had an issue before, bought a set of 2 from knives and tools for £295 and within a couple of weeks and on prepping veg on a wooden board, the tip of one had snapped off. Contacted knives and tools who messed us about, sending us on to different companies and refused to repair the knife claiming it was due to use! As an experienced chef working in a michelin star kitchen within the fine dining industry, and working with top of the range knives all day every day for many years, I could not believe what I was hearing, baring in mind that even though under the consumer rights act UK, it is their legal obligation to repair or replace the knife at their cost, not the customers! I am now having this company investigated by reporting knives and tools to trading standards. I would never order from this company again, they are grey importers who despite using a U.K. website domain, are not even based in the U.K.!

Ordered a pocket knife on 20/12/2026, which was returned with defects. Paid an additional £33 for a "higher end" knife which was also returned with defects. I have found the customer service from this company appalling. I have had to open a PayPal dispute case to get a refund.
