Great priced doors and windows. Hopefully a quick delivery

Just Value Doors ask you to review them by offering you £12 cash back if you do so - all before you receive your order. If you look at all the 5 star reviews you'll see that they are from people saying 'the order process was great, can't wait to receive them!'. Yes, the ordering process was great and the staff were helpful. I placed an order in plenty of time for their recommended timelines and emailed to check if I had enough time etc. There was then a slight adjustment of timings at the start due to Flush UPVC windows taking a bit longer than they originally thought but I was still within time and was told that yes everything should be fine and the suggested delivery date would only change if a delivery van broke down etc. Then a few days before delivery I was told that the windows were delayed by a month. When I complained and said that I had builders renovating my bathroom in a few days I was given the disclaimer of 'we do say you shouldn't plan your builders around us, no guarantees were given' etc. I was told that it was a human error due to a miscalculation of timings about the type of window I had ordered, despite there already having been adjustments made for this. When I finally had the windows and managed to get the builders back, they noticed that the windowsills I'd been sent were too short. I was told by Just Value Doors that had I notified them at the time of delivery they would have been able to fix this for me - unfortunately I was not about to risk booking builders again until I had the windows in hand so this was not possible. We had to live with boarded up windows through winter, pay for the scaffolding to remain in place for another month and then use our old windowsills. After complaining I was given a discount that amounted to less than 2% of the purchase price. I was originally impressed with all the 5 star reviews that Just Value Doors have but if you actually read the reviews of people who have received their order you'll see a lot of stories like mine!

Website was helpful when placing order. Delivery was on specified date (although no time slot). Door fits perfectly and looks great!

I was seeking a new door to match a Crittal window in my back porch. The Just Value heritage range in aluminium was half the price of a similar steel door and the ordering process very easy.

Saw the door we wanted on the internet, had some additional questions so called the number on the website, call answered quickly and all questions answered in a swift and clear way. No attempt at upselling was made which was appreciated and so we went ahead on got the quote emailed and paid two short minutes later. Fab service.

This is my second purchase from Just Value Doors. I was extremely happy with the way I was served last time so they were my first port of call when I needed to replace my worn out UPVC French doors. Because of the unusual opening size I needed a fair bit of advice from the sales team who were happy to spend as much time as I needed to get everything sorted out and as a result I purchased an aluminium set of doors. It’s true the doors are still to arrive (I’m promised about 3 weeks for delivery), but so far the transaction is running smoothly. I am totally confident I’ll be delighted with the doors when they arrive based on my current and previous experience with Just Value Doors.

The ordering system is incredibly user friendly, and loaded with information on all the different product options and information on specifications. We use online ordering systems regularly and this has by far been the best. There was a slight obstacle with payment processing, but the staff dealt with it efficiently over the phone, and couldn't be more helpful or approachable. If every company adopted the same level of customer focus and such a well thought out website/ordering system it would make my job so much easier. We are yet to receive this order but we have used this company previously and both us and our clients have all been 100% satisfied with the product. We had one instance where some cover plates arrived damaged, but again it was dealt with efficiently and replacements were posted out the same day. I commend highly the product, staff and the purchase experience in general.

Very happy so far. Door has not been delivered yet so can't comment on quality but the customer service has been very good. The web-site is easy to use and when I had a query Just Value Doors got back to me by return. You can't ask more than that!

Just Value doors took over 2 months to cancel two deliveries on the day the door was supposed to be delivered, stating quality issues with the paint. The first time I said fine, the second time I tried to cancel the order they said no. Each time I changed my schedule to be home to receive the goods, they do not care. Third time the delivery is arranged the door is delivered, I start to install the door following the fitting instructions which meant removing the old door to find that the new door had been incorrectly made, the latch and keeps in the door frames do not line up and it was therefore impossible to lock, photos and a description are provided the same day to just value doors. Just Value doors response was: “The factory have advised the door should be fitted into place first and then adjustment, if required, can be made to the hinges. This is normal for any door and trying to operate the door with it not properly installed may well result in the issues you have reported.” The pictures supplied clearly show the issue and these were ignored. More emails backwards and forwards with delay tactics from them asking for door measurements and they eventually agree to collect the faulty door 13 days after being delivered (the faults were reported on the day of delivery), still not refund. Door is collected on 21st November and on the 29th November (8 days after collection from my house, 21 days after the door delivered and 35 days after the first day they made me stay at home to cancel the delivery on the day) I receive an email saying the issue is that which I reported to them, extract below: “ I have spoken this morning with the factory who have advised that as the keeps are out, the door would require a replacement frame. As damage has also been recorded on the slab, a replacement slab would also be required and so a full remake would be needed to address the issues raised.” A refund has now been issued on the purchase price, I do not have a door, I have had actual material costs and a lost days of work, as well as sending dozens of emails. My interactions with Just Value Doors have left me much worse of than when I started.
