I have purchased a number of items myself from this company most didn't last or were returned. Now I find an advert for their face masks stating they protect up to 95% from virus has been banned as misleading as like most of their good they don't work as stated and have not been tested. My advice is to check up on what I say and try to get a refund. Also, I suggest people check this company out on other review sites.

Took £59.99 from my father-inlaws account while he was in hospital for a 'motor club' without permission. He has ordered a product from them before but did not agree to join the motor club. They are currently disputing the refund claiming they he an audio recording of my father in law agreeing to it (even though he was in hospital on the day they claim to have spoken to him) They won't provide a copy of the recording. Please do not use this company for anything

I bought an item from Easylife for about £15, then the next month (in my Credit Card bill) found that they had joined me to their Motor Club for over £60. I signed nothing to say that I wanted to join this, and got from them nothing to say what to do if my car broke down, or how to contact this so-called Club. All I knew was that they had taken the money. According to them my request to have a refund was "too late", I should have told them before I knew that I was being joined to the club. Any contact by phone to them results in "you will hear from us within two (or four) working days". Do not trade with them at all.

I ordered an item on line from Easylife on 8th August. I had a confirmation email on 10th August noting that the item was in stock and would be delivered by Yodel on 15th August. Yes you've guessed it - it did not arrive! Looking on the website it noted that the order was "complete" on 10th August, but when checked with Yodel on 16th August, the item had not been picked up. Easylife then washed their hands of the matter and waffled on about there was nothing they could do but wait for the order to arrive. I wanted then to cancel the order, but they sid I could not do this but had to wait for the delivery and then refuse to take it. What a waste of everyone's time and trouble. What a way to carry on a business! This is the third time I have had trouble with Easylife - will I ever learn?

Easylife won't stop mailing my dead father. My father died at the beginning of 2017, he subscribed to several catalogues. I returned each one to sender with a note to say he had died. Within a couple of months all but Easylife had stopped mailings. I emailed them and they replied in February as follows: Please accept our heartfelt condolences on the loss of your loved one. I can confirm that I have now deleted the account from our mailing list. In response to your correspondence, I have removed the account from our mailing list. However, please be aware our catalogues are sent directly from a print house with schedules one month in advance, so you may receive one or two more mailings. The catalogues continued to arrive, I returned them with notes. I emailed again with an extract from his death certificate. I'm still getting the catalogues, I just want them to stop. This is distressing us, why won't they stop sending the catalogues.

First order placed which was meant to take 3 - 5 days to arrive, it took over 2 weeks and one item was missing; apparently out of stock but not when I ordered it! Also 2 items were faulty and it took me several emails to get this sorted. Eventually i was told that a courier would collect them on a day of my choosing, though this had to be Mon - Fri and it would be between the hours of 7am - 9pm, a time slot could not be given. After several complaints I was finally issued with a £5 off voucher but this had to be used on an order under £30. Orders under £30 are subject to a £5 delivery charge, orders over £30 are free delivery. I queried this and was eventually told after several emails to them that the order had to be over £30. More problems experienced when I tried to use the voucher; when I input the code it would not be accepted at all. I emailed Easylife again three times and have hear nothing back from them. The last email that I sent to them was six weeks ago so I guess i am never going to get a reply.

When placing my order online it showed everything was in stock so placed order expecting 5-7 day delivery. No such luck. When I emailed an enquiry I was told some of my items were not in stock and they weren't sending out part orders. No delivery date was offered. Have emailed again today so watch this space.

Ordered some products 26 September. Not delivered by 17th October, when I chased. I was told that they had systematic warehouse operating problems. Goods eventually arrived late October, which I promptly returned because it was too late by then. Three weeks later I realised that I still had not received any refund! Chased 22 November, was told "could I please wait 5 or 6 more working days". I have pushed for an earlier refund. But any vestigial confidence I had in this company is now utterly destroyed. I will NEVER purchase from this company again, and I suggest that you AVOID.

Seven weeks ago I ordered a ladder and after 2 weeks of enquiries as to when it would be delivered I was told the order hadn't been generated! Customer service must be the worst I have ever encounted, waiting times of half an hour only to be cut off. Promises of emails that never materialise and 7 weeks on no ladder and no sign of a refund. Do not buy anything from this company, I'm certain it mustn't really exist! Would appear after other reviews they take the money and that's the end of it. Next email I send is to Dominic little wood on tv. Definitely needs investigation!

Since JUly 4th it has been my misfortune to have had dealings with the easylife group and the attempt to purchase a garden trolley has been in vain. Buyers beware, contact with anyone at the office is a major achievement after extended patience trying, only to be placed in the longest queue that is always present and not to be faded out or cut off which has happened often. E-Mails do seem only slightly better but must be continualy used all and every day. The excuses eventually offered as to the non delivery beggars belief, they must use the most inexperienced courier available, who seemed to mislay the goods twice and a staff that are most unhelpful but full of apologies.Managers at this company are always at a meeting, without exception, how on earth they manage to stay in business is questionable, one star is really too much to award, but they did refund my money without too much trouble. Let me repeat Buyers Beware. The redeeming fact is that I have found a trolley locally with no delivery costs. Handspring

The catalogues arrive regularly and sometimes are issued jointly with Radio Times. Each one contains at least one and usually 2 or 3 adverts for a clock that one can read at night. I ordered one and got one free, and while the numbers are legible in the dark, the hands are not, so one can't tell the time. I complained and was sent two more. They were exactly the same. I have written to EasyLife and the Radio Times and they can't be bothered to reply. I went to the Advertising Standards Authority who seem to act only the the say-so of the firm and say there have been few complaints. All they needed to do was have a look at the clocks I was sent, and the conclusion would be evident. But they too, can't be bothered. These are simply fraudulent.

I saw a Genius safety ladder advertised in the Daily Express Select leaflet (supplied by Easylife). It was half-price and I ordered it on 2 August. Delivery cost £5. I ordered 2 small items at the same time to save paying more delivery. The wrong total cost £87+ (cost of the ladder at the original price plus my 2 small items plus delivery cost) was taken from my bank account almost immediately. The wrong cost of the ladder was refunded a few days later (after I had complained). One month later I still had not received the ladder. Easylife promised to supply it at no charge because of all my problems but it has never arrived. Hermes are supposed to have it on a 'large item van' . The 2 small items arrived on 18 August with a delivery note including the ladder as being delivered. Now the ladder is 'out of stock' and won't be available for at least 2 more weeks. I do want a ladder, so I have had to order it from elsewhere and told Easylife to cancel the request. Waste of delivery charge and wasted time to do the job I need the ladder for.

In February 2015 I ordered a door canopy from Easy Life which was delivered by Hermes. When it was delivered the packing was damaged and when taken out some bolts were missing. Easy Life were contacted to arrange return of this item and a collection date was arranged. Item finally collected on third appointment on 18 March. No refund was given and I contacted Easy Life on 6 occasions regarding this. They now tell me that the warehouse have no record of the canopy being received by them although I do have a collection note from Hermes to state that the canopy was collected by them. It is not my fault the Easy Life’s carriers have not delivered the goods to them. I just want my money back. Tried to speak to senior managers but they are never available either on holiday or off sick! Customer service is non existant. Next step small claims court!!

Have finally had revelation and cracked it! Easylife is just a name, a myth, its a virtual company. They have a customer care centre- nope! just a call centre doing it for them. They have a warehouse or do they? Belongs to another company doing it for them. Nice idea! no intercommunication between three except by sending an email so everyone can pass the buck(or should say email) and no one puts hand up to say buck stops here will sort it. Send email, send box says its sent, outbox says its gone(no empty) but does anything tell you its been received- nope. Where the hell is it! out there on a cloud, 'cause I cant find the damn thing so who else can! That way nothing ever gets there so nothing has to be acknowledged and nothing has to be done or get done. Hence customer service non existent and deliveries dont have to be right or even sent. They can cancel orders and refund at will as they dont have anything in stock anyway and never took money out in first place. Card payments authorized but only taken out on despatch of goods. Could have rant about dealings with this firm over last three months two cancelled orders many phone calls with nowt to show for it except 15 quid extra in their pocket from my phone bill. How else do they earn money. Am still receiving emails with good news another item (different one every time) is now in stock and on its way.No tracking information though. Will get free gift of free express delivery off next order as valued customer. Trouble is there wont be a bloody next time for this lot of idiots who run this company. Got all same items next day via ebay, cheaper and free postage apart from one which was any easylife labelled product invoiced from Livingiseasy.com but payment went to another co traders name on ebay. Anyone beginning to make a connection. Its all a myth under different names. Am I cynical but thought only one person had monopoly of name Easy. Dont say Richard Branson has a finger in this pie too. For gods sake dont be stupid I like the guy. At least he's worked hard earnt his money and created something to show for it. Have resisted just having a rant like other reviews, which might make us feel better getting it off our chest, and tried to draw some conclusion. But cant help but feel that in grand scheme of things makes little difference. This company will still go on in its incompetent way selling its gimmicky goods which sometimes are of use as long as an unsuspecting public request them. Not me or your like minded reviewers though. Please give Easylife a zero star rating. Last thought: all businesses exist to part us gullible fools from our hard earned cash one way or another and we all fall for it when we should know better.

A terrible online shopping experience. They need to change their name I've made a few purchases from Easylife before, experience shows that they have a tendancy to mess orders up. This latest one though was just ridiculous. I went online to order a 2 step safety ladder. The Website would not accept the discount code I had, so I had to resort to a phone order. On the Website, it stated 48 hour delivery as standard, ie 2 days. It actually took 2 weeks !! and then I got a 4 step safety ladder, not a 2 step as ordered. I arranged return. The item was to be picked up on a specific day. I was actually collected a day later. It then took 2 weeks for my refund to be processed. I'll know to look elsewhere in future.
