I ordered a shower screen from Bath Empire which arrived chipped. I contacted the customer service representative, who argued with me when I asked them to come and pick it up and give me a replacement, that I should dispose of the faulty screen myself. I am a single girl living on the 4th floor of a block of flats. How am I meant to dispose of it?? In the end, after much emailing and arguing, they finally sent me a replacement but I had to pay for a handyman to come and take the old one away in the end and another handyman to fit the new shower screen.
I have NEVER come across such appalling customer service; in the end, it would have been cheaper to buy from B&Q or Wickes whose customer service is great. I do not recommend this company under any circumstances - they are rip-off merchants and do not care about the customer.
