Purchased the SCS Halo Sofa in January, it arrived three weeks ago with the feature cushions snagged throughout the fabric.
We asked for replacements straight away and got nowhere. we were told that this was the fabric but we reiterated over and over that it was NOT the same quality as the sofa we saw in January.
I spoke to customer service about the issue and it seems the are trained to never admit fault and be awkward, I was told that someone would need to come and inspect the sofa which was fine but I was made to feel like it was for them to judge whether the sofa was of satisfactory quality and not me the paying customer!!!
Indeed these concerns came to fruition yesterday when we were told but the upholsterer that a few people had complained about the quality of the sofa but this was the fabric.
Seems to me SCS lure you in with their big money tv/newspaper adverts and sale deals but once they have your cash/finance agreement in place they provide the customer with a inferior product and when this is questioned they are not willing to resolve.
I have now written to the SCS Escalations Department to try and resolve this issue either with replacement cushions or a refund
In my experience sales is something they do well, staff in Swansea have always been really helpful, customer service and after sales issues is dealt with appallingly!!

We have the same problem, one of our cushios creases and hasn't been filled enough or the cover is too large for the cushion underneath and it leaves crease after it's been sat on. Rubbish rubbish rubbish, their technical they sent to us from Giltbrook store was rubbish and didn't know what he was talking about, I have and will still pursue this as I am very annoyed with them.

Exactly the same problem with my suite I was told cushions are filled by weight by the upholsterer when he came to inspect yet he didnt weigh 1 single cushion to confirm that they were filled to correct standard My complaint was then closed as SCS said that their upholsterers report said suite was too manufacturers specifications When I asked for the weights for each individual cushion I was told that they didnt have that information So asked them how they could say my suite was to manufacturers specifications when they didnt know what the specifications were or what my cushions weighed Still waiting for their response on that one I have asked to buy the form inserts that are now being offered to new customers at the extra cost of £150 but they are asking me to pay £240 for them I am so angry and the way they speak to you is disgusting I waited on the phone yesterday for 20 minutes before I actually spoke to someone who told me they were putting me on hold and subsequently hung up How do they get away with this Does anyone know how to take these matters further
