Buying new furniture

Overall I’m really happy with my items. From being in store and getting all the help I needed regarding choosing, payment options and delivery of the furniture I can’t fault the service.
The quality of the furniture itself is excellent and buying from there was the right choice, however where it falls down is delivery.
When the items are delivered they’re all flat pack for you to assemble - which was quite a shock!
Nowhere in store or during the buying process is it mentioned that you have to assemble the items yourself. This is probably naive but I assumed as it was solid oak that it would arrive assembled for the biggest part.
The delivery guys did comment and say that this wasn’t the first time they’d heard this and was their biggest irritation as it caused them more issues and complaints from customers. I ended up paying them £50 for them to assemble my goods - surely this should be mentioned at time of purchase?
