I ordered, and received in good time and in good condition two, two seater settees.
I am delighted with the settees and the delivery guys could not have been better but:
The packaging was massive and not removed. The delivery guys apologised and said they could not remove it as they had no facilities to deal with it. That was and is a fail in my opinion. I have no facilities to deal with it either.
I had to make two trips to the local recycling centre, each totaling twenty miles so 40 miles in total. Not very carbon friendly. Why have they not got a skip at the shop from which they were delivered? Why could they not return to the shop via the recycling centre?
So a warning for those ordering from Oak furnitureland, don't do it if you don't have the facilities to store or remove their huge amounts of waste packaging. I would have paid a small excess if I could have had the waste removed.
