Would not buy a Mayne sofa bed We bought the grey Mayne sofa bed by made.com and it gives backaches when you sleep in it. There is a gap of about 5 cm at the midpoint so when sleeping, one can feel the gap at the lower back. Also, there is such little padding on the top surface of the sofa (not firm) that when you lie down to use it as a bed even with a mattress cover, you feel the edges, which again digs into the back. “Messy situation with sofa parts missing ”

After a long wait of 3 months since my order, the sofa came with some legs and screws missing. Delivery company asked me to check with made customer service and then left. I were told by customer service they wouldn’t send the missing legs alone by post. So two options, one is to return sofa, the other is to get a replacement sofa (hopefully with all parts) in another 6 to 8 weeks.. Made.com are a very inflexible company and have completely messed my orders, they left no alternative but to cancel both sofas as they decided, whilst my orders were being made, that they were not going to use this supplier any more and our sofas were never finished being built. “Connor sofa wearing out in 6 months”

I bought the Connor sofa (Velvet Blue) in December. By May the arms started to show signs of wear and the back of the sofa is fading in colour. I called Made, they sent a technician from Home Serve. The technician said this was normal. He then proceeded to manipulate the material so that it covered the wearing out bit, used a pen and pushed some material back in and on his jolly way he went. Not once have they responded to an email but have the nerve to send me a 'rate my support' email. After a whole month I have not received my order and I have been fobbed off on the phone on numerous occasions. WORST buying experience ever. Over 2 weeks ago, I bought a 2000 euros dining table set. Instead of coming in one delivery the pieces were arriving in unscheduled separated deliveries! First on a Friday (May 19th), one parcel (a bench) came unscheduled and obviously no one home to received it, and the parcel went to the closest post office. I bought a sofa from the seller in 9.2015, the cushion covers started cracking all over the sitting area after a bit more than a year, and without any reason. Rude staff, faulty products, items can only be returned at your own cost, refund delayed and not processed until I chased it up repeatedly. I recently bought the Lansdowne chest of drawers. It's a disappointing piece and if you're thinking of buying it steer clear. The quality is okay, but considering the price of them sub par. The instruction manual is absurdly complicated, and even with a background in engineering and working with my hands it took me three hours to assemble it. My husband and I ordered 2 bedside tables and a chest of drawers. We ordered in January and realised it was quite a long waiting time so weren't too bothered as it looked so nice. When it arrived this week it was the wrong order! Goodness knows whose furniture we had! Delivery man asked if I wanted to keep it! Sent it back then had two bedside tables delivered the next day. Terrible service from Made.com. There dispatch couriers dumped our furniture on the front doorstep, for 4 days and then failed to deliver two other items. It's really bad service, the delivery man refused to delivery to my home as he said they are only deliver to homes within 42 stairs but my flat lies on the 52 stairs . And then they asked me to take the extra 10 stairs myself. So I gave them 20 pounds to let them deliver my bed to my home and they took the money. This is not the way things supposed to be done!
