Venere covers every corner of the world. Huge choice of star and price categories for each destination. Photos and descriptions are accurate for the properties I have used. Reviews are from a combination of Venere customers and Trip Advisor. I tend to depend heavily on reviews.
Prices are consistently lower than most sites.
Set up an account with Venere and you have a record of all your reservations which is helpful if you want to return to a certain property but can't remember the name.
Cancellations, where allowed, are easy to execute.
