Downloaded the app, booked, but put the wrong email address in. So couldn't retrieve my booking reference. Couldn't log back into my account, so contacted customer services online. In the mean time, went to the station to try to collect my tickets, where I phoned train line customer services. They answered almost immediately, were polite, efficient & solved the problem in just a few minutes. The mistake was on my part, but the gentleman didn't belittle me at all!
I would prefer to book my ticket face to face with a member of staff at the station, but find their bad service & rudeness too off putting. Using my app was stress free & back up service for problems excellent! Ill keep the app & use again.
Goodbye to the misery guts at Poole station!
