I have placed two orders for the value of just over £80.00 by mistake as I processed the order twice because their website is a little tricky when it comes to payment/order confirmation. I never received any food but an email letting me know the business has been sold and that I will receive a refund in 28 days. I saw other negative reviews with similar incidents and I doubt I will ever see my money back.

I orderd with these people two weeks ago. No goods were ever recived so i asked for a refund. I was told they had "sold the business" and should ask my bank for a refund ? Ive reported to trading standards and i am making a claim through the small claims court for my money back. I sugest you all do the same

I ordered a number of a certain item and was sent a cheapo alternative instead. I took photos and emailed them asking them to send the goods Id ordered and paid for, and to pick up the cheapo items, but they refused, insisting they could only do it once Id returned the goods at my own expense and with a lot of effort. I believe they are a professional rip off outfit and I will never use them again. Plenty of alternatives.

Should you ever be unlucky to order from them, be prepared that no one will ever answer their phone if you call them and you will find an answering machine instead. They will then tell you by email that they are ever so busy. Despite their excellent pictures and description of top brands of original Italian food on their website, what they actually send does NOT match even 20% with what you order and what you see on their website. So expect the following: Unbranded food or if you are lucky you'll receive different cheap brands from what you order, less weight than what you order and some references will not be delivered at all or if you order 4pcs. they will send two. Packaging is absolutely unacceptable with a disgusting mess found int the same carton. Just awful ! Much probably the company is not run by Italians at all, although they reply to emails under Italian common names. Don't trust them ! I would not be surprised if the positive review written before this, on this websites, has been written by themselves. This review instead is written by a "real" customer with proof of purchase !!! Do yourself a favour: save your money and your nerves and shop elsewhere.

Finally at Italian shop that i can buy from! How had is it to find an Italians hop in the UK like the ones that used to be about years ago? All there is online is things that you do not even get in Italy or they are very overpriced. I can get my Barilla pasta, my Pezzullo lasagne and coffee. It is just like visiting my local Italian shop that closed down years ago. Well done guys! The website is easy to use and so much choice. The only down fall is the £5 delivery charge, but hey you can't have it all can you. I wish i saw other things before i made the purchase as i would of brought more, oh well save them for next time!
