I have had numerous problems with grocery deliveries by Asda but today's delivery was a disaster. my delivery was made within the time slot but I realised immediately after the Driver had left that six out of the fourteen items I had ordered were missing.I phoned customer services within minutes and spoke to one of their staff.After a wait while the offending shop was contacted I was told that the store had contacted the driver and the missing items would be delivered shortly.After a wait of close on Five hours and still no missing items delivered I again contacted Customers Services which resulted in a wait of over 20 minutes to be connected.I was then told that the missing items would not be delivered today and that I could have a refund.I refused that option and said that I still wanted the items.I insisted that I wanted the items but was then told that there were no drivers now available and yet they deliver up to 11pm at night.I was then asked to give a time slot for a delivery of the missing items tomorrow which I arranged .I was then told I would get an Email to confirm this.Still waiting well over an houf now and NO Email.The only saving grace was the two members of staff of their on line customer services who were polite and helpful but I very much doubt that I will make further orders from Asda.
