I searched the web for a decent labeling service and nearly all the sites are in the USA. Then I discovered Spotty Spoon. Brilliant, fast, effective, lots of choice, decent price and if I needed help, I believe they would have been on hand... All in all they do what they say. Delighted with the result too. (PS - I never recommend ANYTHING to a friend, the risk of backfiring is too high, but if I had any friends, I might recommend this one.)

Having spent hours trawling the net for personalised wine gifts (I was a bit last minute!) and getting nowhere due to the length of time it would take to deliver, poor selection of wines and large delivery fees, I came across Spotty Spoon. Initially I had been put off by what I thought was a rather intense-looking home page ( I get easily deterred by lots of colours and bold wordage ) but when I went back to it and looked at it again I took the trouble to actually look at the vast choice of labels they had. In fact any label can be adapted to what you're looking for. I decided to give it a go - the examples of words to use that are associated with wines were a great help and I made a lovely label for my aunts 70th birthday . Two days later I made a farewell / good luck label for my niece (there wasn't actually a farewell label on there but I just adapted a vintage one) . Each time the label arrived the following day which is marvellous for last-minute people like myself, and was surprisingly easy to apply to the bottle thanks to Spotty Spoons very concise and helpful tips! I plan to use them again every time I'm looking for something a bit different.

I have ordered these a few times now and have been delighted each time as has been the person I have given it to. It is certainly a talking point. They come so quickly, my last order came the next day and I only ordered it the previous afternoon! They look brilliant on wine bottles but I do agree with other reviews that one to fit champagne bottles would be fab as they don't look so good on them at the moment due to the crinkles as the champagne bottles are a different shape. Look forward to more designs.
