About a week ago I ordered flowers for a friend that had just come home from the hospital. I called on Saturday morning at 10 am to place the order - this is after 3 times of entering my order on-line - each time getting kicked out after I entered all the information. By the time I called, I was already frustrated. I finally placed the order with the girl on the phone and she assured me the flowers would be delivered the same day, because I ordered well before noon. About 4:30 Saturday afternoon, I received an e-mail saying the flowers were not delivered and to call a certain phone number, which I did right away. Unfortunately, the phone number was in a different time zone and they were already closed for the day. Now I was really mad. So, Sunday morning I called early, because they were only open for a limited time. The girl confirmed they had not been delivered, but really couldn't give me a reason why. She said they tried 15 florists (hard to believe) and no one would deliver them - really??? Of course they don't deliver on Sundays, so she said they would be delivered for sure on Monday. At 5:30 pm on Monday, my girlfriend still had not received any flowers. I called customer service again and once again they couldn't tell me why they had not been delivered, other than they couldn't find a florist to deliver them - which I don't believe. We aren't talking a little town - this was to a big city. They now had me on the phone for over an hour. Once again I am furious and they assure me they will be delivered on Tuesday. This time I called customer service early Tuesday afternoon to see if they had been delivered yet. It turns out the order still wasn't turned into a florist. While I held on, they called a florist and said they would be delivered for sure on this Tuesday. Finally on Tuesday afternoon, the flowers were delivered and the delivery guy told my friend there had been some kind of a mix-up and he had just received the order. Never, never, never will I use Teleflora again and you shouldn't either. By the way, I paid with a debit card and it was deducted out of my account right away, so they had my money.
