I ordered a gorgeous bouquet for my grans birthday and paid for same day delivery (an extra £10 on top of the £29.99 flowers).

The delivery did not come. I called and was put on hold for so long that I hung up and emailss to query the whereabouts of my order.
The next day I receieved an email from the company to say sorry for the delay and that there had been a systems error and due to this mistake, they would upgrade my flowers to the bigger bouquet and also include a note of apologies to my gran, explaining the mix up.
Yesterday (2 days later), my gran receieved her flowers.. Not the flowers I had paid for (and most definitely not an upgraded bunch) but a sparse bunch of flowers with some dying flowers squashed in at one corner!
I then received an email saying that my original order of flowers were not available and that they had substituted these for other flowers that were 'similar'.
I can't explain how nice the original flowers i had paid for should have been! And the flowers my gran received were awful! Definitely not worth £30 and there was no upgrade (there was actually a downgrade for sure!) and there was no note of apology.
I have been in touch to ask for a refund and have sent them a photo of the flowers to show them the dying bunch and have yet to receive any word back!
Spoken to a few people and they have said that this happened to them (with the flower order being changed last minute due to 'unavailable' flowers and it failing to meet thwir expectations).
Taking money and changing the product paid for with a poor alternative!

Please see comments for recent complaints regarding Paypal redress. If you paid via Paypal and did not receive the service expected you can log a complaint with them and get your money back.
