“'Bright & Cheery'? More like 'Late & Dreary'”

(I've also posted this on iFlorist as I believe they are the same company)
I ordered some flowers a week in advance of a birthday assuming that was plenty of time .... how wrong was I?!!! On the morning of the delivery date I checked the tracking, and all looked good, the flowers were 'out for delivery' at 06.04 am. Happy days! Anyway, by the evening I hadn't heard anything from the recipient, who is the kind of person who'd call or text immediately on receiving the flowers, so I checked the tracking again and it showed the courier had received it at 09.16 am, so why hadn't it been delivered by 8.00 pm that evening?

I logged on and selected 'live chat', which isn't live chat at all, it's just a form to fill in which then generates a support ticket. I didn't hear anything back after a while so emailed the support team. Lunchtime the next day, still no response, and still no flowers delivered, I called the support phone line to be told it could be delivered up to 48 hours after the requested delivery date, and it clearly shows this in red when you are ordering on line - IT DID NOT! I checked this by entering a new order and going through the same process as I had done before, and it absolutely does not say it will be delivered on any other date than the delivery date. Customer Service/Support need to get their facts right methinks.

Mid-afternoon, the day after the requested delivery date, I received an email from Support saying my support ticket number is invalid ... whatever next??!!!

Finally, around 3.30 pm the day after the requested delivery, the flowers are delivered, or rather 'thrust upon' the recipient. a knock on the door, flowers handed over and a form thrust in her face to sign, no hello, goodbye ... nothing! A lovely way to receive some surprise birthday flowers the day after your birthday eh?

I'd love to say the flowers were of good quality and plentiful, however sadly they were not. The recipient described them as 'tired' and quite sparse. If they survived 3 days, she'd be surprised.

So all in all, an extremely disappointing experience. Shabby service and even shabbier flowers.

Do yourself a favour and pop down to Lidl, buy a bunch of fresh flowers for £3.99 and spend the rest of the money you would've spent buying flowers online on petrol , and drive over to the recipient to deliver the flowers in person.

I also received an email to say that it states on the website it can take 48 hours after your chosen delivery date (which I think is pathetic as I ordered them a week before my chosen date). So I did the same as you and went on the website and placed a new order, put in a delivery date and it defiantly doesn't say anything about waiting up to 48 hours. What's the point of choosing a date for delivery if it's not going to be on that day?! Also I've just found out the flowers I originally ordered for my mum didn't arrive, a "substitute" horrible looking bunch appeared instead. Avoid avoid avoid!!!
