Disappointing products & service

Looking for some extra special gifts for Christmas and prepared to spend a little more than usual. I visited this site and found 2 items that I thought would be extra special.

The first was ok, bur certainly not worth the money. It was also described as having an option of special gift wrapping, which I knew the recipient would particularly like. I tried to opt for the gift wrap, but there was no option for this. I contacted the site, via email, and they admitted that there was a technical error. They rectified it and I proceeded with the order asking for this extra special fist wrapping. The item arrived in a tatty piece of tissue! I contacted them again and they told me I hadn't opted for gift wrapping (I was certain I had) although they acknowledged my email! They were not prepared to rectify this and ignored my request to forward the gift wrapping.

The second item, a pair of earrings, arrived in a cheap and tacky presentation box, and looked like cheap junk jewellery. They had been advertised as Swarovski Crystals, but there was nothing with the earrings that confirmed this. Certainly not worth the money I paid.

I will not be using this site again, and advise others to be prepared to receive inferior products compared to the description. They claim to be something special, they are not.
