you should call citizens advice bureau for help. There's a template for a letter before action you can send, then if they don't give you your money in 14 days, file for a claim via moneyclaims online. They will have to pay you your money, as well as the fees for filing for the claim. Otherwise you can drag their asses to court. Do it now.

They owe tonnes of people money. DO NOT buy or trade with GameXchange. Look at the comments in their facebook page as well. They will give you the same technical excuses. 'The system is down' or 'we are having to process payments manually' or 'there has been a huge surge in customers trading this month.' These are all rubbish. “Very slow payment for orders”

Despite a 20 working day window for payments of orders traded in, payment for a recent order was extremely delayed - almost three weeks past the window (well over a month in total). Emails were answered quickly but with no date of when the matter would be resolved. They apologised and sent a code for future orders but would be very reluctant to deal with again. Best of luck with your claim - if they can process the items within a day there's no reason they can't process an automated payment in the same timescale.

“NO PAYMENT - ONE MONTH LATER”

I've used GameXchange a few times with no issues, sent items in which have been paid promptly. However, on this last occasion I have had to wait a further 15 days (and counting) longer than their 20 working days maximum to receive payment policy. Two times I've been told I should have received payment, this is without the status of my order changing from 'trade processed' to 'payment issued'. I have had the same issue as issue, traded in a nintendo switch with them in September didn't get paid until last Friday (10/11/2017) after I sent them a letter before action and filed a complaint with Citizens Advice. This was after many emails back and forth with them basically saying they had a computer issue.

This is exactly the same as what I had to do! Ridiculous. First they said payment should have been made, then they had issues with accounts, then a quadruple amount of tradins had pushed out payments (not that this should affect the customer?!), then a supervisor was looking into it. To top it off they offered 10% additional to my next trade in!

Will not be using again.

Our son sent £50 worth of wakes to this Company at the binning of October, as with other reviewers comments, no funds wee received within the 10 days as stated in the T&C's. After chasing by email to various email addresses, the same excuses were received with many of the emails simply copied and pasted with the same excuse. I ordered a Playstation 4 FIFA 18 bundle on the 30/10/17, and I still haven't recieved it. however, I am for now remaining patient as its said due to size and weight, console orders may take an additional 3-6 days. fine. I ordered a PS4 white slim on 28/10/17 and I have still not received it I emailed them and they said “Thank you for your email. I am sorry this order has not yet arrived. We did use Royal Mail tracked delivery but it is not very helpful at the moment“ and that if not here in 10 days they will do a refund

DO NOT SEND ANY GAMES TO THIS COMPANY!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. It has taken 17 emails, legal advice and the threat of court action to get payment after 40 days. I had the usual excuses of payment issues, mine was a priority, the system has crashed. Just seek legal advice, set a deadline for resolution with them. Traded in a stack of games in exchange for cash, their customer services advised me the wait would be 20 business days after the trade was processed. It has now exceeded that and I'm still waiting for my return payment, and have not had any follow up despite emails to them asking for an update. I had the same issue but received payment after I threatened the CEO with legal action having located her home address through researching the company. I also found they have not paid their Company Accounts which is a precursor to the company folding. I would suggest taking legal action ASAP as you may never see the funds.

I used GameXchange to trade-in my iPod Touch. Although their own Terms and Conditions state a maximum of 20 business days to pay (normally 7-10 business days), this company does not pay and continues to use pathetic excuses of being busy or technical problems as to why they have not paid. I agreed an XBox trade with GameXchange. It arrived with them on the 25th August. It is now the 2nd September and I am still waiting for payment. There T&Cs say payment is usually within 10 working days and no later than 20 working days. I have spoken to them on numerous occasions, been told they are very busy and have software problems. Exact same problem of non-payment and standard email replies. Avoid this company at all costs as they are awful at paying. I am waiting after 5 weeks (which seems a short period compared to others!). I have reported this company to Trading Standards, Citizens Advice Bureau and have given them 3 days before I start Small Claims Court proceedings against them.
