Selling Process Is Flawless

I searched Google for a website to sell old PS1/PS2/PS3 games on, having never done it before. Initially, I tried musicmagpie.co.uk, but they were only interested in a few of the newer games, of which they were literally offering a few pennies for each.

I then tried webuygames.co.uk, their website looked good with a mobile scanning app to speed-up the entering process and they offered decent amounts for the games I had too. However, in the end, I got put-off from using them, as I found that they had a silly way of taking delivery costs out of the first £3-5 of items, which would effectively be written off as 'freebies'. The amount you lost varied depending on the value of first few games entered. Also, their website kept refreshing the page & losing items previously entered. When I started losing confidence in their website, I started looking online reviews, many said that their processing procedures were poor & took ages to complete with little feedback. At that point, I went looking for another site to use!

Finally, after doing some more thorough research on the smaller websites, I settled on chilloutgames.co.uk, even though their website was a lot more 'basic' looking than others. Although it may be simple in appearance, I found that it worked well and was very straightforward with no glitches. They require a lot of specific condition info about the case/inlay/manual/disc, which affects the value, but I took the time to answer them as accurately as possible to avoid any difference of opinion during their review on receipt of the games. The only negative point was having to reach over £55 of total value, which is a LOT of games, I understand why, as it has to be worth their effort, but a lower total of £25-30 would encourage more people more frequently & still be worth it for their re-sale profit..... Anyway, after getting a quote & selecting Parcelforce collection, I created an account easily & submitted the quote for review. I had prompt confirmation of the quote & packing label info emailed to me the next day. The packing terms & conditions were very extensive & made me a little nervous of how much they would subtract off the total if the games were not packed exactly as stated and/or if they claimed to be broken-in-transit. To minimise risk, I photographed all games pre & post packed & went in heavy on the padding inside, then masking-taped the box to death!
After the courier delivered the box to them, they confirmed via email that they were processing the games & within 2 days I had confirmation of a PayPal payment at the full quoted price, plus a small bonus for the mint condition of the games!
I genuinely can't rate their service highly enough, they were fast, friendly, honest & efficient.

Hopefully my rather wordy blurb above will help others who are unsure whether to use them or not, you won't be disappointed.
