I purchased a Logik Washing Machine from Curry's just 13 months ago. OK it is the cheaper end of washers under £200 but still a small profit into Curry's pocket. Unfortunately I have had a issue 1 month out of the years guarantee. Upon phoning the Service department to gauge how much an Engineer would cost me I was informed £119.00 or £149.00 if I wished the warranty to be renewed. How does this encourage Individuals to be environmentally friendly and want to renew an existing product to prevent unnecessary landfill, when a new product can be purchased for a few pounds more. I am very disappointed that Curry's/Know How do not feel that they have a duty to end users to provide a realistically priced follow-up service beyond the 1 years guaranteed time. The call centre was fairly nonchalant and as a past customer I will think twice before using this organisation again. I have found a reasonably priced engineer (local) on google.
