“Excellent staff forced to work with poor company...”

The call handling staff at AV Partsmaster sorted out my problems professionally and were honest and worthy of trust. Unfortunately, it appears that they are having to work under difficult circumstances, as the company charges a £10 fee for NEXT DAY delivery but my projector had not been dispatched for next day delivery, when I called the next day to check and track my order. The staff member that I spoke with did apologise and upgraded my delivery to a pre-noon slot for the next day, with no extra charge. (I ordered on a Monday, rang to find no progress on the Tuesday and was given a slot for pre-noon delivery on the Wednesday.) The projector did arrive around 11am on the Wednesday. This was a 2-day delivery - not the next day delivery that the company gives on their website as a minimum delivery charge option. To the staff - thank you for your efforts and support in resolving this issue and getting my projector to me in time for my next presentation. To the company policy makers - please do not inconvenience your staff members and your customers by having your customers pay a minimum delivery charge for a next day delivery, when that delivery target is unlikely to be met. In business, as in life in general, trust is so important, between everyone concerned!

I am the head of a school in Warwickshire and we needed a replacement lamp for a projector urgently. I had never used AV Partsmaster before and they were happy to send me a lamp out for next day delivery and invoice the school. As it happens the lamp turned out to be faulty but when I contacted AV Partsmaster, there was no problem whatsovever and another lamp was dispatched immediately. I have been genuinely impressed with their service at a time when so many companies don't bother getting back to you. I would highly recommend them.

“Very helpful when purchasing a new projector...”

We needed a projector for our church building. I homed in on an 8k lumens Epson with an additional long throw lens for it. It took us a long time to actually get around to purchasing it and AV Partmaster were both helpful and patient when we had to revalidate quotes. They were also helpful with support on installation (which we did ourselves in the end). We're very satisfied with the result - it works brilliantly - and AV Partsmaster were a great supplier through the whole process.

It's not advised here to write the name of a staff member so I will just use the initials of this particular staff member namely HM who has made my day yesterday. I've purchased a projector lamp nearly 5 months ago and it has now stopped working only 2 days before the expiration of the gurrentied warranty. I was ready to argue and explain as I used to with many other companies in this situation when a warranty of a product is expire in two days but instead I've encountered the best ever online and phone support I could received in my life. HM, not only was quick to get back to me with a confirmation of replacement and return label but she also managed to bring me back a confidence that when someone promise you online an extended warranty it really works and honoured by the company and not only by there marketing efforts. HM, was not only helpful and professional but in fact the reason why chatbots, AI and robots cannot replace the emotional inteligent of not only a good customer service but more over of an amazing person. I wish that this website will shout my review the loudest it can so companies like Amazon, eBay and many other online ecommerce will learn of what is a great customer support and how company should look after their customers. In fact if you have a doubts of my review and words here, this is what HM answered me when I thanked her in my email for the service: " I try to treat our customers the way I would like to be treated." Can you look any further if you want the truly ultimate customer care and experience? Well done HM and thank you again so much. You have just converted my from being a one off customer into a loyal and happy returned client. PS. I never take the time to write such a review cause I am not use to such a customer care. AAAAAAAAAAAAA++++++++++++++

“Good Selection on the Website (or so it seems)”

Despite the website looking dated the options available for projector lamps filled me with some confidence. Unfortunately that confidence was short lived. I ordered a replacement lamp for next day delivery then hours later I got an e-mail asking me to call AVpartsmaster. I am not sure why I had to call them when they were the ones wanting to speak to me but still, I gave them a call. I was advised that they can charge me more for alternative parts but don't have the item I ordered. I mentioned it was available to order on the website but nothing was said back. I requested my money back and the person I dealt with said he would get that through for me now. Not a great service and not a company I'll be using again. Due to their delay I don't really have many alternatives left to get delivery in time now. Thanks Avpartsmaster!

“Help with a Projector Mount”

We (Little Chalfont Community Library) bought an Epson Projector from AV Partsmaster to replace an old projector that was pole mounted on a high cathedral ceiling.When we came to fit the new projector the arms on the old mount were too short so we asked AV for advice. The person I dealt with  from the AV Team came back immediately and asked for photos. When we provided them he once again came back immediately and advised that longer arms would have be supplied with the original mount and if we couldn't find them he would investigate for us. We searched the Library and found a bag of parts including the longer arms so problem solved. Without his knowledge (of kit that was 8 years old!) and advice we would have probably have bought a new mount. As a charity we certainly can't afford to waste money so full marks to him for saving us the unnecessary expense. It's worth adding that AV's price for the Epson Projector was very competitive and our order was processed very efficiently and the projector arrived very quickly

“Appalling after service”

I ordered a part for projector but could only supply bulb and before it was delivered I found the projector was faulty so as it was despatched requested a return. As it was Christmas week they were closed till 2nd January then they said they had to contact supplier but would get back to me. A further 3 or 4 times later on contacting them they just said they had not heard from supplier and sent me a reply to someone elses query they were dealing with. They would not provide a returned address so on the 6th January I claimed through paypal, they then sent me a returns address so I posted and insured the item for £8.99 and still never heard from them. On contacting they said the item had not been received but sent proof of postage and delivery, we will get back to you, that was 10 days ago. Today however paypal have refunded my money I am however still down on postage and still waiting for a return call. This was just a new bulb for a projector thank god nothing bigger

“Our school projector died just before Christmas”

As in most schools, this is the time of year when you really rely on your AV equipment and typically our Sanyo projector died as we were preparing to rehearse for Christmas. I emailed 5 companies and only the person I dealt with at AV Partsmaster actually replied, I explained our needs and he suggested a suitable projector to replace the Sanyo and fit our existing bracket. The projector arrived the next day and as it was pretty much a direct replacment we had it fitted and working with 10 minutes. The person I dealt with was really helpful and he really did save Christmas for the kids. What a brilliant service, thank you so much.

“Terrible Experience”

Terrible experience - avoid this company. I help run an NGO in Ethiopia serving people with skin disease and needed a replacement lamp for a projector used to make presentations to local and national government, and other stake-holders. I was heading out to Ethiopia recently and wanted to take the lamp with me. I ordered from AV Parts with their next-day service... but no delivery. AV Parts claim that their shipping supplier told them that they tried to deliver to my work-site 3 times - although we have no record of this whatsoever. I have still not received the lamp over 2 weeks later and, of course, they missed my flight to Ethiopia, which means that the team there still have no working projector... impacting the lives of thousands of people with debilitating disease. AV Parts refuse to agree that their shipping agent is an extension of their business - and, that its failure is actually their failure too. I am beyond frustrated and disappointed with this company. I would strongly advise using an alternative supplier.
