We ordered a fridge/freezer to be delivered on Sunday. When it arrived in the morning, the delivery note showed the right one, yet although the delivery men should have stayed until we unpacked it, they did not. They could not get away fast enough. As soon as we opened the box a little we noticed that it was the wrong colour. My husband phoned the delivery men who were only down the road by then, but they refused to come back.
Appliancesdirect do not operate customer services on a Sunday and the sales team who are working on a Sunday (yes, appliancesdirect like to take your money on a Sunday)could not care less. The massive fridge/freezer in its box sits in the middle of our small kitchen. We can't unpack it, we can't move it to where it was supposed to go as it won't fit while in the box, and we can't use our kitchen as it takes up the space in front of the cooker.
So we can't cook, we have no fridge and now we have to wait. Thank you appliancesdirect! You can't get more inefficient and uncaring and that goes for your delivery company as well.
