The worst decision I have ever made was to book a mystery holiday through wowcher. The destination was meant to chosen by a draw and the holiday being booked through weekender breaks.
I bought 2 vouchers on the 1st of January, with the draw taking place on the 2nd of January. I was not contacted at all by weekender breaks until the 22nd of January. Instantly I regretted my booking as this voucher was complete false advertising!!!
Our destination (Milan) was not drawn, it was just the cheapest flights they could get. We were then told there were no flights at a all from our 3 departure airports and London was the only option, I would not have booked this knowing that was the only option. We were then told we could go to Lake Garda but not on any of the 3 departure dates we had selected or even the same month we had chosen. All flights being offered were departing at 17:30 and leaving the destination at 06:00, giving you one day in your destination.
This has gone back and fourth with weekender breaks for three days now and it has been horrible. I finally gave up and called wowcher to get a refund, to be old they couldn't refund me as it had been 14 days since I bought the vouchers. Honestly this is ridiculous, if I had known what this voucher really was I would have cancelled it instantly, but instead I had no option but to wait until weekender breaks contacted me 20 days later, and by then it was too late. This is complete rubbish and by the time you realise it, it is already too late to get your money back. I would not recommend this to anyone, ever.
