“Do Not Use!”

Bought an alarm clock which kept resetting itself making it useless. Contacted customer service explaining it had only been used a couple of times in the month we had it but they insisted we returned at our own cost to be checked, but we would not be refunded this postage (this would be about half the value of the item). Several mails later it was clear they were completely uninterested in their customer. SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE AND BUY ELSEWHERE!

“do not use”

I ordered a mop no email confirming order no email to say it had been dispatched, delivery was quick though, mop was faulty took ages for anyone to reply to my emails (no phone number anywhere) eventually after an aggressive email they responded after 2 weeks then took 10 weeks to refund me and that was after 6 emails chasing my refund not such a great deal after all

“Persistent Spammer”

I don't know how they got my e-mail address, but they send me spam almost every day. Their e-mails have an apparent "UNSUBSCRIBE" option but it is not a real link and does not work. They ignore replies to their e-mails saying UNSUBSCRIBE. Very annoying and completely pointless!

Dealtastic do offer some decent products at low prices occasionally but the true cost of buying from them is that you will be bombarded with email offers from them every day forever- no matter how many times you click unsubscribe! Not only that but if you receive a faulty item or simply wish to return an item, you might as well FORGET IT! Because there customer service is no-existent.

“Not to be truted at all”

Would score minus 5 stars if I could. This is probably the worst company ever - i do not know how they have not been shut down. Avoid at all costs. They will bombard you with emails and completely ignore their own privacy policy when you unsubscribe. I hate this kind of company - they deserve to fail. The only problem is they probably will, but not before scamming lots of customers first. Avaoid, avoid, avoid. You have been warned.

“Damaged Item Delivered-emails bouncing-phone number...”

I bought an item from this site recently, it took two weeks to be delivered, when I did receive the item it was damaged beyond repair because they had not sufficiently wrapped it to prevent the delicate item from being damaged in transit. I have tried emailing the company but the emails keep bouncing back with the message that this is a permanent bounce back. The telephone number that shows up on my bank statement is not a valid number, and the online contact form does not make them contact you either. All I want is for the broken item to be returned to them at their cost and a new one correctly packaged to be delivered to me intact. Is that too much to ask for?

I just bought quite a few items from this site.....I got the products within 5 days which is better than most online retailers and they really are great value. I bought some copper pans, toys for the kids (plus batteries) and some other items for the house

“Terrible Company, Beware!”

Buyer beware! Dealtastic debited my account for over £180 worth of goods. They placed the order under a "fraud review" without any communication or explanation and ignored repeated polite requests to either fulfill the order or refund my account. After almost 3 months I had to contact my bank who issued a chargeback against this unscrupulous company. They caused me no end of hassle and I'll never buy from them again.

“OK until problems occur”

I've bought a few times from these guys, after checking that it was in fact a good deal, and apart from very long delivery times, it's been ok so far. However, recently they had an offer on "laptop/tablet" stands. The product page clearly stated the stand was suitable for a laptop, and even gave a maximum weight, which was beyond what a MacBook Pro weighs - pretty heavy. So I went ahead and bought two, one extra for a friend. When they arrived, it was immediately apparent that they are in no way suitable for a laptop - they are simply too small. They would not work even for a 13" laptop. I have since sent 4 emails over the course of 8 days, all of which have been ignored. I guess they are playing the "ignore them and they'll go away" tactic.

Similar comment.Got product but necessary software missing. Been correponding through their "Customer Services" link, not even the courtesy of a reply let alone a solution.
No Phone number published either.
How are these people allowed to trade here. Where are the Trading Standards officers and consumer watchdogs ??

“Absolute junk that doesn't work.”

Ordered two small electronic items from them. They eventually arrived after almost a month rather than the 48 hours promised. One was a TV tuner which had a blank CD instead of the software it was supposed to include, included a remote control, but the tuner had no sensor to use it with. Thankfully Windows Vista has software to use it so it's not totally useless. Second was a mini video recorder. This didn't even have any CD let alone the needed software. My PC connected to it, but couldn't access the (not included) memory card once inserted. The instructions talk about lights that are not present and I can't make it do anything. I can't be bothered returning them, it will be good money after bad as the postage will be half the money I might get back. Avoid this company at all costs.

Similar problem.Ordered DVB-T Freeview receiver and Recorder, Software missing from package.Contacted these people so many times as product un useable without software and it was to be a Xmas gift for my grandson !
No response whatsoever from these people so I am getting the Law on to it as to me, it constitutes fraud and they should be stopped from trading.
If you have managed to get any contact phone numbers for these people, I would appreciate an email of them.

“ABSOLUTELY AWFUL”

I ordered two projection alarm clocks on the 20th April and I have only just received them today. I tried to call, but no-one ever answers the phone!!!! I have emailed them on numerous occasions only to be told that the items had been despatched, which except for yesterday were lies. It was only after threatening to contact Paypal to have my money refunded that the clocks arrived. Don't believe a word you are told. Stear clear of this company, they are not worth the hassle. I would not touch them with a barge pole!

“steer clear they are awful”

a very bad company avoid. i placed an order the order was marked a dispatched even had a tracking number, but when i tried to trace the number doesnt exist, i contacted dealtastic and they said the item was in transit but there was no tracking information. a week later they email me to say its just been dispatched, i email them and ask why the lie and all i get is sarcasm back. there delivery time is quite long but when they tell you its dispatched you expect it to be the truth. unfortunately this company dont know what truth or customer service is. and im still awaiting delivery. i would never use this web site again. the customer services is the worst i have ever been unfortunate to have to deal with

I am fed up with calling these thieves. I ordered 10 Led bulbs at a cost of approx £150. I haven't revived them even though they say I have. HOW do you know??? Do not use these guys our their associated site ledhut.co.uk as I have read that this has happened to others. I just wish I checked the reviews before buying. I have now bought from another company but still no compensation from dealtastic. I just don't know why they are allowed to trade. If they lived in Saudi Arabia, they would have their hands chopped off! I can think of something else I would like to chop off!

“silly prices”

I have bought stuff from Dealtastic and been reasonably satisfied, they were delivered on time and in working order but I have noted of late they are advertising products with unbelievable RRP and high prices that are easily beaten by other suppliers. Today is a prime example, they are advertising a very basic compact camera with an RRP of £99.99! and a price of £48.79. It can be bought new on ebay for £25.99 including delivery. There is a space for comments underneath Dealtastics products but I have never managed to get them to stick on the web site.

“To Be Avoided at All Cost”

Ordered a cordless carving knife, which was to be given as a Christmas present. After 3 weeks waiting told (on 21 December) it would not be sent! These guys are based in Jersey (Channel Islands). They have you over a barrel because you cannot take any proceedings against the company as there is no small claims court in Jersey. As another poster explained, if you wish to risk using this company (and I would not avoid this company at all cost), then only do so with Paypal.

“Unreliable with VERY untruthful customer service!”

I paid for my goods on 27th November. They still haven't arrived! I email them almost daily and I am given a variety of answers, from they haven't been shipped yet to they were shipped two days ago. They use Hermes as their carrier who are on an 0870 number but I wasted my time phoning as they refer me back to Dealtastic. As Dealtastic require a signature I am afraid to go out as I may miss the elusive parcel. I wanted to send these gifts abroad but I have had to purchase and send other gifts. Do not deal with this company.

“Customer Services-Vax Libretto Rechargeable HandHeld...”

I purchased a Vax Libretto Rechargeable HandHeld Vacuum cleaner from Dealtastic.co.uk. The first one arrived with no apparent signs of damage. When unwrapped a rattling sound could be heard from the front section, after investigation, the sound was located to a small piece that had broken off, this piece should have retained the non-return flap in the nose cone. I informed Dealtastic.co.uk via email that the item they had sent was defective, after a few days I was asked to send the item back with a covering letter and a replacement Vax Libretto Rechargeable HandHeld Vacuum cleaner would be dispatched on its receipt. I had to contact Dealtastic.co.uk a couple of times to ask when the Vax Libretto Rechargeable HandHeld Vacuum cleaner would be sent, already in the knowledge that they had received the defective cleaner through its tracking number. Eventually the replacement arrived, on opening it, the exact same sound could be heard that had omitted from the first cleaner, on inspection I realised that it had the exact same fault. Again I contacted Dealtastic.co.uk to ensure that they would pay for its return. On this occasion they offered me 20% extra if I took an online credit, after various ways in which they work out this 20% extra transpired to be £00.06p extra. I decided to decline their offer and return the goods. After a few days I enquired as to when my credit card would be credited with the full refund. It took several emails and eventually a threat of legal action before they sent confirmation of two separate credits. A week or so went by when I decided to purchase another offer, the original Vax Libretto Rechargeable HandHeld Vacuum cleaner was still available, I thought what were the chances of getting three Vax Libretto Rechargeable HandHeld Vacuum cleaners with the same fault - 100% is the answer. I couldn't believe that they managed to send me another vacuum cleaner with the same fault. I contacted Dealtasic.co.uk again. On this occasion I decided to look back at the credit notes/actual amounts received on my credit card that I realised that they had short changed me by over £4. I wrote to Dealtastic.co.uk explaining yet again how much credit should have been paid. They have again attempted to short change me in the beleive that they don't have to pay me the original P&P cost. Yet again I've had to remind them what my statutory rights are Under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 are. Why should the consumer have to remind the sellers constantly of our rights. As Dealtastic.co.uk have chosen to be obstinate in crediting me with a full refund, I have withdrawn my good will in returning the goods to them, making them arrange for the faulty goods to be picked up at their cost.

“Dealtastic failed to deliver twice...”

The only advice I would definitely offer to anyone using Dealtastic is ensure you use Paypal and if Dealtastic fail to deliver file a non-receipt dispute immediately. Don't accept any credit code refunds! I foolishly accepted a credit code from their customer services for failure to deliver an item back in August. When I used the code in September and paid the difference in cost to make up the order they failed to deliver yet again (the order was suddenly shown as cancelled and they claimed they had never received payment off me). Dealtastic customer services have started ignoring me despite several emails to them and me sending proof of payment for all items concerned. There is no contact telephone number for them on their website. I've had a refund for the 'difference' I paid for the last order because I disputed the last transaction through Paypal. However, I don't know what I'm going to do about the money they owe me for the original failure to deliver as it's now too late for a Paypal dispute. So angry at being ignored and totally stressed out I WILL get my money back though I don't know how? I wonder how many customers have had this issue but just given up and let Dealtastic keep the money
