I generally enjoy watching QVC, and have bought quality beauty and fashion products. QVC producers and guests are positive and lively. I find the postage and packing expensive and have only ever returned one item, the Illy Coffeee maker, which produced coffee far too bitter for our taste.

What really annoys me is that QVC website wrongly uses 12.00 am for 12.00 midnight and 12.00 pm for midday on their programme listings. Neither time exists. 12.00 am and 12.00 pm are both misleading and wrong.

12.00 noon is midday, or meridiem, and is neither am nor pm. It is noon. It is neither before noon, (am, or ante meridiem) nor after noon, (pm, or post meridiem). It is the middle of the day.

12.00 midnight is the middle of the night and is neither am nor pm. It is the dividing point between two days.

In spite of telling them this, they have never bothered to correct these times. I don't think they can grasp this concept.

Alternatively, use the 24 hour clock, where 12.00 hrs is midday and 24.00 hrs is midnight.
