I rang up as was frustrated that my order had not been dispatched some 6 days after placing it and had not been communicated with. Discovered that some of the items were not even in stock and they were waiting for items to arrive but could not even advise me when the items would arrive and would not send me part of the order. I ordered 8 items from the same range.

This is misleading. There are no warnings when you purchase the item for it to say, not in stock or that the item will take longer to arrive.

I had to order 6 more items so went to one of their competitors instead baytree cookshop. Ordered items and was told they would arrive within 48 hours (no cost for delivery). They arrived within 24 hours.

Another online shop I order from allow you to order items but within a few hours if items are not in stock, to let you know by email with an estimated date of when they will arrive. They keep you updated by email and let you know when items are dispatched.

It is a shame as the Millys is very competitive with pricing and have great offers but their communication and customer service let them down.
