Final straw with Argos
Some time ago purchased a mattress with them waited six weeks for the wrong size to turn up cancelled order placed order with another supplier correct mattress turned up one day later even before Argos had collected.
Swore I would never use them again.
But no over time I Forgot and placed an order for collection from local store
Checked it was in stock and available mistake was thinking will buy it online.
Paid thinking it will Show store for me to confirm.
No sending me to a store hours drive away can't change it on web site
No problem call customer services simple to change collection point
First 2 times after navigating their not very Good voice recognition system was put through to an operator
Both times the phone was picked up and put down again straight away
Argos care about customers
Third time got through to be told can't change store have to drive to Crewe only thing I can do is cancell the order and make a new order about to do this when suddenly remembered hang on that payment thet went out of my account straight away will take 5 days to come back into my account or you sure you can't change collection point
Doesn't sound that hard to manage
It is for Argos who would prefer to inconvenience a customer than be of service
Note to self don't use Argos
