I ordered several items in the sale, from a range of bedroom furniture. At this point i was told the smaller pieces would need to be delivered seperatley, there was not even an option to get different deliveries on the same day. I couldnt commit to so many delivery days so picked up the smaller items in store and emarbked on the (long) wait for the remaining items.
After 3 weeks we recieved a phone call to say they could no longer fulfil the order, and could only deliver 1 of the 4 items. This was somewhat disapointing in that we already had part of the range.
I telephoned back and they told me they do not keep stock aside for items that are already ordered and paid for, and simply use it up as they deliver it, and cancel any outstanding orders when stock runs out.
The lady on the phone was unable to offer any form of altnerative at the same price, despite their being a suitable version which is cheaper when sold at full price.
All sales now over and i am left with half a set of furniture.
Overall my advice would be to avoid anything from argos which cannot be picked up in store.
